I just don't know that I can purchase another BB mold . . . but I am sure after time I'll give in.

Looks like just the big ticket items on that press release. Looking forward to the Transformers-specific press release though, Hasbro usually says how many figures are planned for the year on those based on size class.

Again, pass and I have to ask why? Why ever make this? Devastator sold terribly in at least six or seven stores locally, the Ultimate Bumblebee failed just as miserably both times around. Ugh. Waste of time and engineering.

I'm reminded of the MOTU 200x line, where there was TONS of he-man and skeletor variants, and 1 other new figure per wave........

New mold or not, thats essentially what hasbro is doing with the damn movie line, I dont need 7 billion different bumblebees......

Large format huh? (not that I'm really surprised)

Was kinda hoping this would turn out to be HA sized with more gimmicks. Since it's really not much nicer than HA BB (who is already not as nice as he should be)< I might have looked at it as a possible improvement on HA BB, but as a large scale figure- it should be nicer than it is.

At this point a 1:24th scale (painted w/ rubber tires) version of deluxe BB with a few more details added and either a battle mask that worked well, or interchangeable heads would be the best movie BB toy ever.

Agreed. I miss the BT/ALt line, and HA BB fits into that scale fairly well. If this new BB was designed to improve on HA BB and still be about 1:24, I'd buy him, making him the first ROTF toy I own. But I'll pass on this. I feel oversaturated with BB's at this point. Milk away, Hasbro.

Eh, nothing new in the press release itself, but it is nice to see it out already. The full press release we'll get during the NY Toy Fair should be more useful, and give us a good idea of what to expect this year.

The fourteenth just can't seem to come soon enough, lol.

I only have one BB and that's a Human Alliance one. I have no problem buying this.

    Still, where is Starscream?

I am with you on this one for sure.

    1) Sick of Bumblebee, just the movie one as I really like the Alternity one I got today.

    2) He looks ok but he is not worth 60$. Clearance is the only way I am getting him.

When we first got legitimate confirmation on Leader Starscream, we were told he'd be out very late this year.

I'd been hoping that was incorrect, but now that we know this odd mishmash toyline will be running all year, and there's been very little news, I'd say late 2010 is quite possible.

    :(
