Sorry if this has been said before but i just noticed something amongst all of the toy fair buzz.

One of the new transformers themes is "Hunt for the Decepticons"
One of the new G.I. Joe themes is "Pursuit of Cobra"

Is it run after the bad guys year?

That's what i think. What about you?

Jesus Hasbro, do you think customers are stupid?
Watcha' bet G.I.Joe will have a green jeep with guns that pop out.
We'll all ask ourselfs, "That looks suspicously like that new RPMs Hound"

What's with all the Hasbro hate today? They finally gave everyone a domestic release of Thrust. That's an automatic STFU forever card.

Pfft, just about EVERYTHING shown at Toyfair 2010 can be considered a STFU card.

I don't know, I'm not feeling those Powercore Combiners especially the 5 packs.

And that's just it exactly. The Power Core line is likely going to get one or two purchases from me, tops. But then they have Generations and WFC figures coming along, as well as an HA Jazz. And Elita-1 wasn't a big disappointment for me, because I couldn't stand any of the motorcycle girls. A totally new mold of something I don't care for is still something I'm not buying (though, I feel sorry for those wanting something new and getting a repaint).

Point being, one line that isn't that great, and an anticipated character I didn't want anyway that now no one else will either, compensated by TWO lines I will likely buy heavily into and an HA figure I have been seriously hoping they would do? If they need help handing out those STFU cards, I'll volunteer. Shit, I'll go around stamping foreheads for good measure.

With all the (IMO) superior redos of the ROTF line characters, I don't feel bad anymore for missing on so many releases B)

In special, Ironhide, Sideswipe with gunz and Voyager Optimus make me much happier.

I even like the new toy characters better than the N.E.S.T. guys! Hailstorm and Hubcap are win, Insecticon too.

Sounds just like coincidental story telling to me.

And Grimlock 13, well said buddy! :lol

I just added 16 toys to my want list. No complaints here!

Well the GI Joe movie did end with them going out to eliminate Cobra so "Pursuit of Cobra"
    works.

In ROTF, the Autobots & NEST were tracking down Decepticons so "Hunt for the Decepticons" makes sense.
