    I like the Hasbro Vector Prime white body better than the Takara one, I am currently paintng all his leafing gloss black to dry brush gold over it, the sword hilt is also being painted as well.

    All the gears are washed in sky grey in a 3 to 1 mix.

    Head is being repainted, all the brown is being repainted as well.

    His minicon was washed and the eyes were painted red to match Vector Prime's eyes :)

    Just a few pics for right now, will update more as the week go buy.

    *edit* updated pics of current work 7-10-11:
    *sword is done, mini con is done, need to finish gold details... everywhere, the bottom/back, dry brushing gold onto the dish details on his feet, etc etc.

    The gold looks amazing... the wash on the gears make it look 100x better! I never owned this mold, but this kinda makes me wish I had.

    I love this treatment on VP, and the mold is very much needing this level of paint application. Can we see some full shots of VP?

    Repainted mine (check link in my sig) a few months ago. Painting this really made me appreciate the mold and I've ended up shoehorning him into my classics collection as one of the original 13. good work!

    The wash with the gray is astounding. A lot of panels that are now really visible.

    It's nice top see someone else bringing out the details of this mold. {I did this myself when I customized a vector prime}

    It deserved a far better paint scheme than hasblow gave it. Looking forward to seeing more updates.

    Amazing attention to detail here. :thumb

    It might be too late but I would suggest painting the white parts in flat white (like the gunpla modelers do it). With all the work put into the details, the white shiny plastic color stands out like a sore thumb.
