Many thanks to 2005 Boards member Flexx Ark for pointing out these were now up. Official pics and bios of Prime Cyberverse Legion Wave 3, plus new pics of Nightwatch Optimus and Ultra Magnus - but I know we've at least seen Magnus' bio before. Included here for completeness.

    Quickblade Bumblebee

When you specialize in fighting at close quarters using an Energon blade, speed is essential. The DECEPTICON ranks are full of top-notch melee fighters – robots who have spent years honing their skills in the use of fist and blade. MEGATRON places a bounty on some of the more formidable AUTOBOTS, which many DECEPTICONS eagerly seek. That’s why BUMBLEBEE trains constantly to be the fastest thing on four wheels. His reflexes – and his ultra-sharp blade – are the only things standing between the DECEPTICONS and victory.

    Hyperspeed Wheeljack

Few DECEPTICONS have ever heard of WHEELJACK, but that’s mostly because those that do learn about him don’t last long. He is one of the most devastating special operations commandos ever trained by the AUTOBOTS. He strikes from the shadows with speed and overwhelming force, and then fades away into space. Nowhere in the universe is safe. If you’re a DECEPTICON, and WHEELJACK is on your trail, you better start saving your Energon chips for some repairs.

    Decepticon Flamewar

DECEPTICON FLAMEWAR has spent years preparing for the final battle against the AUTOBOT ARCEE. She has studied every one of her enemy’s moves, and devised a strategy to counter it. Now she waits, her weapons ready, for the unwary AUTOBOT to wander into her trap. She stalks the Earth at the orders of the DECEPTICON leader MEGATRON, but every diabolical move she makes is carefully planned to draw her web ever tighter around AUTOBOT ARCEE.

    Nightwatch Optimus Prime

OPTIMUS PRIME is not built for stealth, but long years of fighting have taught him that some skills are worth learning. Sometimes, a frontal assault is the wrong move. When it’s time for a sneak attack, the AUTOBOT leader is one of the most dangerous silent warriors around.

    Ultra Magnus

As the commander of the most elite AUTOBOT special forces unit ever assembled, you’d expect ULTRA MAGNUS to be just about one of the most unstoppable warriors this side of the galactic core. You’d be right.

I giggled, very hard. ALMOST laughed, it was a hybrid of giggle/snicker.

Anyway. I may pick up that Wheeljack, I may be the only one but it reminds me of the diaclone scheme.

Nope, you're not alone. I know a few people have commented on it - must be what Hasbro was going for.

So how is Nightwatch Prime stealthy again? Grey plastic? :p

Well, I guess swords make less noise than guns.

That bio makes it sound like Magnus was commander of the Wreckers in the Prime universe, which I'd totally be okay with. Also, I could imagine Flamewar meeting with Airachnid and Starscream on weeknights to plot Arcee's death. There's probably a support group at the rate they're going with people who want to kill Arcee :lol

Is that "Friction Rifle" Arcee's gun and blade (from the show) combined? If it is i'm so getting that figure just for the gun. I'll give it to my Cyberverse Arcee =]

He is - according to the novels anyway, which this design seems to take its inspiration from.

It's actually the gun from the Vehicons in Wave 1, also bundled with the blue Movie Soundwave in Wave 2. I guess it sort of works like you suggested though.

I like that Hyperspeed Wheeljack seems to harken back to Marlboor Wheeljack...

I'll probably pick up the Nightwatch Prime, though I hope the red is at least a darker shade of red than the original release of Prime....

    So Flamewar is basically Airachnid?

    Okay.

As Wheeljack tails me at apparent hyperspeed, I'm told to save money as I race away.

    Okay.

I love how succinct Ultra Magnus's bio is. It can pretty much be summed up as "He's a badass. Deal with it."

Those Prime swords look great. Easily justifies the repaint :)

Also, is Lightspeed Wheeljack supposed to represent the pre-Earth mode Wheeljack? I may just use it for that if I pick it up...

    draw her web ever tighter

    her web

I guess we aren't getting a Cyberverse Airachnid then.

Also, would you guys say this Wheeljack is a good representation of show-Wheeljack if you can't afford the playset with him? Are the colors and their placement close enough?
