Well, that doesn't mean I'll get MP-3 either. It's not Starscream. I'll wait and see if anyone will release the mold in a Transformer's actual colors.

WTF Hasbro....why not bring over the stuff that's actually good and worth buying.

Die-cast 20th Prime, unless he has long stacks and no battle damage, i'll pass.

    :(

Yes! But is it beast-to-robot or beast-to-vehicle?

    Understandable.

Did anyone ask about that alleged Alt Megatron color scheme we saw?

You just answered your own question. Everyone wanted 20th Prime released here, and when he was, no one bought him. At least, not enough to warrant releasing *ANOTHER* "Masterpiece" figure at an $80 pricepoint.

The re-release of 20th Prime is simply for movie promotional purposes, and perhaps even to test the market once again for that type of figure.

When I asked Hasbro about MP Starscream before, I got a "Sept 2007 at the absolute earliest, if at all". So you won't be seeing him here until next Christmas at the earliest.

I still want Starscream despite his more "realistic" paint job. It is disappointing he won't initially see a US release. Maybe the US release will be animation accurate... we can only hope.

As for the plastic 20th Prime, if it was of a decent quality, I wouldn't overly object if he was all plastic if it meant a substantial price reduction.

    Honestly, i'm a bit shocked.

I was beginning to theorize that the 'more realistic' changes were actually being caled for by Hasbro, soley aimed at bringing him out in some sort of 'licensed alt military subline'...

Hopefully there are plans in the future to bring Starscream over here for those fans who want him but don't want to import... I, on the other hand, will be getting MP-03...

I remember hearing about the beast minicons and "larger alts (possibly military)" from the panels at last year's botcon. I wonder what's changed since then.

Wait, duh, they have movie figures to sell. Well, at least we'll get those new minicons. Admittedly, I was really hoping for a Screamer over here, as I won't be getting the Japanese version.

Haven't beast minicons been in the planning stages for awhile now? (This is a real question because I only vaguely remember something about beasts, I'm not trying to complain)

Thank you, Hasbro, for removing the last temptation to get MP Starscream somehow. That's $80 I get to keep. :D

    :rolleyes2

I refuse to import it (mainly because of jacked up price + shipping).

Between this and the whole Nemesis Prime ordeal, very cross with Hasbro today.

Damn, MP Starscream was one of the few TFs I have been really been looking forward too. And I was on of the no ones that did buy 20th Prime.
