I'm not surprised, the movement for him started pretty late. Mostly over the confusion of wether he was already in or not.

BW Megatron falls under Megatron, all incarnations of a character gets inducted with the character.

 

RODIMUS! The chosen one must get in!

 

We debated this to great degree in a thread, and came (for the most part) to the conclusion he didn't count, as he is not an incarnation of Megatron, but an entirely seperate character who co-exists with the traditional Megatron.

 

I don't remember Erector at all but I do remember the Micromasters. But anyways I voted for Rattrap.

 

I can't recall who or what Erector is and I'm too lazy after work to do a search! Also Ratrap who? May as well throw in Broadside in and make this a real competition.

I'm going to be kind of sad if Erector actually gets inducted.

This is fine as a joke, but to suggest that the character of Erector has had as much impact as someone like Grimlock, Jazz or Shockwave is ludicrous.

That's not to say that I feel it isn't appropriate to nominate a character like Erector, this is all for fun after all, and fan driven.

I voted for Waspinator because he was my first proper transformer, and his character, though only used twice, is definitely one of my favorites and a personal standout to me. Beast Wars brought me into the fandom, and Animated brought me back after my High School years.

Well it's either Beast Wars guys or Erector. I voted Erector though since BW Megatron didn't get in. The G1 characters are shoe ins to be picked next year by Hasbro anyhow so I don't see the big deal trying to get them in the fan vote.

And who the hell voted Arcee? She's done nothing for 20 years until Transformers Prime anyway. Before she consisted entirely of "OMG A GIRL ROBOT!!!!11!!"

 

Don't worry even if Erector wins at TFW, when the final vote gets up on Hasbro's site there is slim to no chance that Erector will win. Outside of the few loons here most of the fandom is sure to say "erector who?".  

 

this one is tough not only do i now need to get an erector figure, i just got masterpiece grimlock and love everything about him. Rattrap was my favorite beast wars figure and character and i did love Jazz and shockwave growing up but after reading everyones comments i have to go with Waspinator i mean if we dont vote him in i dont know when he will get in

 

You must be joking.

Rattrap was a main character from Beast Wars, largely accepted as the best TF show ever, and one of the larger fan-favourite characters from the show. He was a deep, flawed yet entirely relatable character. Unliek Dinobot, who was a very complex and noble charatcer, Rattrap had what could only be described as a super-human, yet very human personality.

 

Erector. Everybody else is a shoe-in for Hasbro-decided nominations in the coming years

 

Waspinator. The guy took so much abuse throughout Beast Wars for our entertainment, and was even denied death just so we could watch him get blown up more. And even with many cast members returning to Beast Machines, it was the surprise reveal of Waspinator-in-Thrust that made us all happy.

Also, his more nightmarish counterpart in Animated shows that, no, you don't have to always be a sad sack whipping boy; sometimes, you can turn into a genuine, stalkerish threat when the universe dumps on you. Waspinator shows that, with the same basic concept, you can get two wildly different characters that still gain fans for who they are.

Sorry, Erector campaign, Waspinator has gone through enough scrap to earn his place in the hall of fame.
