It will be another crappy combiner that will use 2 of the same molds again to cut down on the cost.

"Blah, blah, I spent $300 plus dollars on a third-party KO combiner and must justify my expensive purchase by deriding any and all figures even slightly related to it made by Hasbro."

Not sure if I'll even care that much about this. 3rd parties have filled all my combiner wants.

Interesting news! No doubt they have caught onto the amounts of moneys people have dropped on some of the 3rd party stuff that has been coming out the past couple of years. But honestly I would be more excited if it was Takara Tomy who is handling this situation. Between them and Hasbro, TT has come out with some legit fan/collector focused material like the MP line. While Hasbro is catching on somewhat, they still seem to be more kid-oriented.

Only time will tell I suppose...

I imagine Hasbro may want to make a line called Transformers: Combiners or something of the sort.

This is good and Interesting news as far as it goes. we almost have nothing to base speculation on so , I for one will wait until we actually have something worth speculating about.

No more limb combiners, please. Scramble-city is sooooooo boring. Give us something like the Beast Wars combiners or different stuff.

Hasbro should just bring back stuff like the Build King or Rail Racer.

An intriguing trademark application. It could result in something great, terrible or nothing of real significance.

However with the 30th anniversary not that far away, I'd not be surprised if 2013's toyline will be heavily dedicated to celebrating TF history, since TF4 toys will be clogging shelves in 2014.

IF my theory is correct, it would explain why were are to get 40 Generations figures next year, and now a possible 'Combiners' sub-line. If there's going to be any time for Hasbro to go a bit wild on the TF's production budget, it'll be over the next year or two.

Should the line be real, I would expect perhaps to see it as a Deluxe + Voyager line and see updates for Devastator, Superion, Defensor, Menasor and possibly earth-based Bruticus. That alone would constitute 26 molds, which is a lot. If anything i'd expect for the SC combiners for limbs to be retools w/ new heads/weapons rather than completely individual molds, and i'd be okay with that. Many of the figures were similar looking, especially the Aerialbots.

I don't know why, but this made me think that Hasbro wants us to think that the future will be Airachnid while in fact it will be filled with what hopefully will be good figures.

Hmmm...I didn't think of it like that...Good theory. If this is true then it'll explain a lot of things. Not to mention awesome figures as well. :D

Awesome Non-Prime fiures, as in hopefully less curves, more "blocks."

Can you tell me something. Do you dislike the Prime style? If so then tell me because you seem to be not into it which is fine of course but at least be honest about it.

Anyway back on topic Maybe it'll bring out more awesome figures for both Prime and non Prime figures alike.
