So I'm all excited that I got in on the Pepsi Prime order. My box arrives in great shape. I open it to find.....

    My Prime box is damaged!!

Now granted it doesn't kill the display value of it but come on!!! This makes no sense. It's like it was damaged, then put in the box and shipped to me.

You'd think they'd at least try to take care of their products. And please their customers.

Sorry for the rant but this really upsets me.

Yeah, they damage it then ship it. Its standard protocall.
    My recent orders
Boncrusher- Slow shipping from 45 minutes away, no damage, though
Wreckage- SlowER shipping from 45 minutes away, perfect shipping box, dented bubble
Leaders Prime/Megs, 3 legends, 2 free magnets- Slowest shipping from 45 minutes away, and amazingly everything was undamaged, even though it was a large order with LOTS of open space in the box.

    I've heard of worse, though.

Have you been reading this board? It's more amazing if you get one undamaged. Mine are on the way, we'll see what happens.

Ehh, I just can't see ordering a collectible item from HTS and expecting collectible quality. BBTS, HLJ, etc., sure. They're catering to that market. But HTS is basically assuming that most of it's customers are adults purchasing toys to give to kids, who will immediately open them anyways.

I admit it sucks, but it's not a real suprise.

Welcome to the wonderful worlf of the HTS shipping department. That's actually in very good shape compared to some I've the items I have ordered from HTS. They have elephants that sit on the toys before they are placed in the shipping boxes. You're lucky if one out of every 3 or 4 orders arrives w/o damage. I actually got lucky with my Pepsi Prime. Though with all things I plan to keep MISB that I order from HTS...I ordered 2 so it would increase my odds of getting one that the elephants missed.

Every TF I have ever ordered from Amazon.com arrived in a pristine box, and they don't cater to collectors. There is no excuse for what HTS does.

Haha. Same thing happened to me dood. I returned that pos and asked for a refund.

I did order something else from them and it arrived perfectly. So it seems to be hit or miss.

Maybe the folks have no concept of MISB C9 boxes and the toys are simply treated as...toys...

On a related note, I hate the way they handle boxes at the register, always squeezing them, picking them up by the wrong part of the box, dropping them in the bag, squeezing too many items in a bag too small, then dropping it, putting the lightest smallest item on the bottom and dropping the heaviest item on top of it, I swear they do it on purpose, they being TRU, Walmart, and Target employees.

And THAT'S why they do it, I expect. So people will order multiples, trying again and again to get one in good condition. Clever bastards.
