Not sure if this is news or not, I figured I would share.
These Photos were taken during Toy Fair. This is in Times square in New York City.

    Enjoy

Wow, I kinda wish that I was there since it's something that I actually can go to.

Huh? You couldn't go to anything else in NYC?

I love NYC - so much to do. So many cool toy stores, too. Nice to see TF Prime getting some of the limelight!

It's not that I can't do anything else, it's that I couldn't go to Toyfair.

Thank you for sharing; if Hasbro made it to NY Times Square than they're doing alright.

I wouldn't go to New York just to see Times Square. I heard it was a tourist trap when it's not New Year's Eve.

I didn't realize this was news, saw it on the way to Toy Fair last week, nifty, but short.

As for Times Square? Eh, it's alright, just don't do anything daft like going to TGI Fridays or something and it's not too bad.

Meh, that's just some negative nancy talk there.

TRU Times Square is worth the trip... well, to Times Square, I mean. Plus you've got the M&M store, yum. Who wouldn't want to buy several pounds worth of M&Ms dispensed from a giant tube in whatever colours you happen to prefer?

FAO Schwartz is right around the corner, too.

Personally, I have no inclination to go there for New Years, though. It's crowded on any given day - why go when it's even worse, just to see some ball drop?

It's a tourist trap, period. Especially on New Years Eve. You won't find a New Yorker within ten miles of that place on January 1 unless they work there and couldn't get off. And even then I've seen people quit their jobs rather than go to Times Square on New Years.

The TRU is okay, but even more overpriced than normal. FAO Schwarz is nice to see, but nothing really special as far as selection goes.

I wouldn't call it a trap because they don't charge you to get in. If you're already in New York, why not go see it?

On NYE? Because there's several million drunk tourists within a four block radius and no bathrooms. Trust me, you don't wanna go.

Sorry no I didn't mean on NYE. I would never go on new years eve, but any other time its a cool place to visit. If only for a short time.

There's some really great toy/comic stores around too. Toy Tokyo might be my favourite... it's a bit far from Times Square, but who cares? It's Manhattan. Everything's convenient to get to.

You're right, the selection is no better or no worse than any other TRU, except that it's BIG. And fun to see, especially if you've got kids. Big Lego sculptures, a life-sized Barbie house, etc.

Ditto FAO Schwarz. I love the huge stuffed animals. Last time I was there they had build-your-own Muppets. As in real Muppets that work. I can't wait until my daughter is older and I can take her there.

    Exactly!

Exactly! NYE would suck. But on any given normal day, it's great. Yeah, it's touristy, but so what? It's just a fun place to shop and eat, and get some good cheap Broadway tickets - and to anyone who thinks Broadway shows are "gay" or whatever, go see Avenue Q.

I'm actually dying to see Book of Mormon by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Not sure if I'll be able to for a while, though. :(

I would totally live in Manhattan if I could afford it.

And the reason you were taking pictures rather than actively hitting on those two girls a few feet in front of you at the stop light is... ??? :D

    2 reasons,

    1. I was more interested in Transformers.
    2. I'm happily married. :)

Not exactly interested in going to New York City, but that is some pretty cool advertising.

No! The Ponies... they're taking their campaign for despair to the streets! Hide your kids! Hide your wife! Cos they're rapin' everybody out here!

No, wait, Prime's turned up to make sure they're in check.
