I'm also happy about the fact that the no photography rule has been followed. First, with Classics last year and the movie this year. I always felt like someone, somewhere was going to try to be internet savvy and post them but no dice. It makes excited to think about what they might, and now know they can, show at the next 'con.

I'm really glad that I didn't let last year discourage me from going this year. This convention was incredible!

I told them in person at the Con, and I'll tell them again, THANK YOU, HASBRO AND FUN PUBLICATIONS for a great Con. It was a load of fun, and I only hope and pray that I can get the time off from work to go to next year's Con.

Next year, BRING MORE INSIGNIA MAGNETS!!! :D

Every time I tried to buy anyone with Hasbro a beer, I usually got one handed to me instead. They are a bunch of great guys, and they do their jobs very well. I have nothing but faith in Hasbro and their ability to continue this historic franchise.

An amazing show, the best I've ever been to. So huge kudos to the BotCon organizers, Brian, Lenny, Rik, Pete, Karl, Jon, and Ben.

    Agreed

Greg was pretty nice and even small talked with me a few times over the course of the weekend.

He was even nicer to repeat the announcement for me after the dinner on Saturday. I mistakenly thought that there'd be 2 Official TF cons next year 1)The week before the movie premier and another at the usual September date. So as stupid *yes I admit it* as that sounded he explained it to me, and I had a feeling of relief :D

WOW! This is a great way for Hasbro to touch base with fans. it's well written, it thanks us for our actual help. and it acknowledges our universal love of the Classics line.

Nope and we never will as Fun Productions won't ever release said numbers. All we as a fandom need to know is that attendance was higher then last year's con

That's really too bad. I always liked seeing the numbers when 3H did it. What is the any reason they don't release the number?

Yeah ... the crowd behaved during the Hasbro panel ... but forgot their manners during Paul Hitchens' panel later the same day.

I don't know how many times Paul had to tell the audience: no photographies, please.

Yeah! Without a doubt, the best convention I've been to as well. That paragraph from Kickback needs repeating. :)

I've never liked the idea of toy/comic/sci-fi/etc. conventions based soley of the sheer "geek factor" of them, but I'm definitely thinking about attending BotCon 2007 next year. This year's convention looked amazing, and considering the next one will be on Hasbro's turf only a week before the live action movie comes out, I can only imagine how over the top it'll be. Nevermind all the toys on display, but I also bet Peter Cullen as well as the other confirmed voice actors of the film will be in attendance. Ideally we would see Cullen sitting next to Welker for that one :)

If by where you mean the Hotel then no. None of the PTB (Powers That Be) know yet. And don't expect anything to be released untill the 1st Quarter of '07

At most Brian's scouting out various locations at the moment
