To reward stockholders at their annual shareholder meetings, Hasbro gave out RPMs Optimus Prime as a shareholder gift. Even though I am a Hasbro shareholder myself, I was not able to attend the meetings or even know if I qualify to begin with. It has a exclusive deco similar to the TakaraTomy Shareholder Gift as seen below with Choro Q trucks. I have them as well but I did not get mine out for this review.

A great review of the TakaraTomy Shareholder gift can be seen here.

The RPM version was given in Europe at the Nuremburg Toy Fair in 2010. The Speed Stars version was given in the Canadian Toy Fair on 2011. They both have the same type of packaging. It is like the Kmart/Meijer Universe 2 Armada minicon 12 and 10 pack with a plastic cover sliding over an open box. There are mirrors on 3 inside walls so you can see underneath the vehicle where Optimus Prime is.

I took the RPM version out since it was on a loose rubber band.

I like the roof where it reads "Autobots, Roll Out!" There is the initials CH above the Autobot logo and I have no idea what it stands for (Corporate Hasbro?).

The Speed Stars Version is different in that the name Optimus Prime is not painted and it contains a serial number stamp on top below the vehicle mode. I was not able to remove it from the box since the rubber band was so tight in the front and did not want to risk damaging the toy.

I was wondering if the 2011 version actually says "Toy Fair 2010" on the side door as well or if it was updated.

So Optimus has a vinyl of his own face on the side of his truck mode?
Yeesh Prime, you're becoming the Steve-O of Autobots.

The left side is the mirror image of the right side, so there are 2 Optimus Prime headshots on the toy, making 3 total if you count the bottom. It is kind of like having a tattoo of yourself on your own body.
If someone told us earlier about this then they would have received the news credit. I really did not consider this toy review newsworthy actually since the shareholder toy has been out for a while. I even reviewed Vardia Red Starscream but it was much later after the release of the toy.

Yep, and Steve-O has a tattoo of his own face on his back.
Trust me, i wouldn't make a conscious effort to bring up Steve-O unless i absolutely had to. This just happens to be the one time in the history of mankind where he's even come within spitting distance of being remotely "relevant" : P .
