And the trend continues. Hasbro's Animated show reveals are indeed fixed for September/October time frame.

as far as i can tell nothing says anything about bumblebee being any sort of leader in this. he is on a mission, possibly solo, and loses his memory. windblade finds him and helps him try to remember. nothing about that says bumblebee is any sort of leader

I’m going to hold my opinion until a trailer is released, but the initial promo is interesting. Bumblebee finding his memory with Windblade and interacting with other characters has a lot of potential. The designs looks good so far, with G1 designs as the foundation, with sprinkles of IDW, Prime, RID (2015), and Animated.

Right, for some reason my brain equated him being the main character as the leader.

personally i take it as a more g1 approach to the character, solo mission sounds like a scouting/recon mission to me personally

The designs don't have me doing backflips or anything, but they aren't bad either. I like the G1 echoes to Bumblebee's design with the horns and all.

The amnesia spin could be interesting. It will give them a chance to show lots of "one-off" characters. I'm hoping it will also mean a lot of flashbacks set on Cybertron. (I'm assuming the present-day story is set on Earth because that's where most TF series take place.)

I like the "Bumblebee and Windblade, BFF" angle because it's something that's actually new.

I wish for hyperdetailed designs like in anime, not stylized like a cartoon network show.

I think Bumblebee might be like this cube in g2. Just a vehicle to tell random stories.

Add me to the list of those who can't get passed the art style, personally. Hard pass for me, but happy for those who are hyped for it! :D  Glad Transformers will continue to exist on the air.

Man I haven't watched a mainline show since Prime. I couldn't get into RID and judging by the blurb I doubt I'll get into this one either. I totally understand the need to create a show for kids, Hasbro's core audience, and don't cling to the idea of a more dark serious show, like Resolute or the movies, but man I wish there was a solid middle ground.

So I've never really liked BB until RID2015 came around. For me, that's the only BB worth my time. Really liked him.
So there's my bias- not digging the new look. I thought his proportions & face were far more heroic looking in RID15.

Interesting designs and a promising plot. I think it could be decent! I only wonder who will be voicing Bee this time?

It would be nice for Hasbro to start utilising other female characters from their franchise instead of always Windblade.

I gather that they want female presence, but by now WB starts being a mandatory token shoved everywhere. Meanwhile they have basically the entire G1 Elita's crew who are blank slates for redesign and charactersisation because they've got barely any personality in the G1 series.

The character with probably one of the worst graphical designs in the franchise, a weaboo fanfic level of bad design and the one notoriously drawn with ridiculous roboboobs, is a poster female for the franchise. Lol.

    Seriously, Hasbro. Let it go.

Whatever. As long as it's not RID '15. My 2 year old will sit and watch Prime and G1 without looking away from the screen. Even she won't sit for RID '15.

If be cool to see Dan Gilvezan reprised the role again, for once in a animated series.

+1.And it looks like it will take heavy inspiration from Animated, look at Optimus Prime's face and the designs in general are more Animated-esque.

I don't know how much I can agree with this, because I don't know how much of my opinion is based on fact and how much is being colored by my general dislike of OCs (and Windblade registers as an OC to me, being the "Fan-Built" character).

I will say, though, if Windblade is going to be shoved into everything, we'd better see the Rust Renegades, too. I mean, they're Fan-built characters too, right? Why do they get relegated to the comics while Windblade goes dimension-hopping?

    You and me both.
Plus, wasn't Bee's best friend Optimus according to Hasbro?
