Wouldn't it make more sense that "Dinobot" is talking about the movieverse dinobots and not BW Dinobot? Not that the name can't be used in multiple ways, but everything else on the list is something to do with expiring movie trademarks.

Reissues or new moulds base on the ROTF and HFTD characters! ROTF Leader OP is soooooo close to perfect. Just a couple tweaks to push it over the top is all it would take...

Wishful thinking on my part, probably :-/

Whatever happened to some of the other trademarks Hasbro (re)applied for over the years?

"Tow-Line", "Armorhide", "Rollbar" and "Side Swipe" (July 2012).

The ROTF line was spectacular at the least, however, I always thought the first live-action movie toyline was the best. Perhaps its the nostalgia...

The words \"Stealth Force\" make me very worried.

Was hoping they\'d try to get Swoop and Sludge\'s names back.

Would be great if I could take this as indication Hasbro intends to release MP Dinobot over here.

    But I can't. :(

As much as I'd like for some reissues, I think they're reapplying the ROTF trademark for the movie masterpieces

Take it as an indication that Hasbro are releasing a new Generations Dinobot next to Primal in POTP.

The Dinobot trademark may be hinting at a US release of the upcoming MP figure.

I can see "Dinobot" since we're fairly sure MP Dinobot is coming from Takara. So it's wise to re-up that ahead of a potential US release.

Keep in mind also some of the Bayverse Dinobots have "Dinobot" in their product name: "Dinobot Snarl", "Dinobot Slash", etc.

So there's good reason to renew those even before you get into wild mass-guessing.

In those cases the trademark is for the whole name "DINOBOT SLUG" or "DINOBOT SLASH". Not for the individual components.

But they also trademark "Transformers" and "Transformers Revenge of the Fallen" and "Revenge of the Fallen".

I could see them wanting to make sure when you flip over the box to read the description they can refer to "his fellow DINOBOT warriors" without worry.
