My favorite TF store has Hasbro Prime Vehicon First Edition for pre-order. ONLY $25 so take that other e-tailer.

Meh, the RID one looks better.

 

The PRID is better in my opinion but this pre-order will sell out quickly.

You guys do realize that this is the RID version, and not First Edition, right? They're merely using the FE pics to advertise the pre-order.

There never was a "Hasbro First Edition", the First Edition Vehicon was Takara.

I'm around to see RobotKingdom rape people with their prices...yet I'm late to get one at a reasonable price. Why do I even bother with these?

Well, there was that preorder from Robotkingdom or wherever it was that looked to suggest a Vehicon (FE mold) becoming available, so maybe its just being released under that name now? If so, this will be a great deal, but I dunno if I wanna gamble in case like you say, the RID one ends up being substituted.

 

I've just looked at the listing when I read your post (wasn't interested in getting one so just skimming the thread). It's very confusing indeed. The title says First Edition but there's no mention of it in the description  

 

They still have FE Arcee in stock for $52, and when they had FE Vehicon for sale previously (late last year) it was $36.50 so why would they sell it for less than those if it were the real thing?

It's a pre-order that is scheduled to arrive in June, same as some of the other newer Prime figures like voyager Starscream, etc. Not to mention, like I alluded to earlier, the only FE figures that made it to North America (US & Canada) were Bumblebee, Starscream, Arcee, Cliffjumper, voyagers Prime & Bulkhead, and the entertainment pack w/deluxe Prime & Megatron. Individually-sold deluxe FE Megatron and FE Vehicon were Asia/Takara only.

Either they're intentionally trying to mislead customers (which I doubt, even though every other listing is perfectly specified as it should be), or they're just lazy in putting an accurate description up, perhaps why they said "pictures shown are for reference only."

 

I contacted them and they said its the FE one not the RID one

 

We'll wait & see. Hopefully, for those of you that placed an order, it's the real thing. I seriously, seriously doubt it though.

 

I'm happy you found it cheaper, next time it would be nice to let he seller know that you changed your mind instead of leaving them hanging for days.

If it's the real thing, then they should correct the description (moot point now that the preorders are sold out, but I digress).

 

Perhaps it's part of that FE "reissue" line Hasbro's releasing that mentioned a Vehicon?
