Hasbro version is more visually interesting and detailed. (to me anyway) The chrome spoilers on the Henkei look quite nice though.

I prefer the Henkei (I'm a Henkei whore) version for it's more modest paint apps, though I have to admit I had a difficult time deciding which one to get. To say the least, it's one of the better Hasbro classics figures.

I LOVE my Classics Mirage. But I'd have bought the henkei if I had the money and patience to wait for it to ship. Retail instant gratification there. :)

I have the Henkei myself. The chrome makes it feel more g1ish.

I don't really like the chrome on Henkei Mirage, and I do like the sponsorship logos on Hasbro Mirage. Plus the Hasbro Mirage has three red stripes on each arm, while the Henkei Mirage has grey and red stripes on his arms; I prefer the consistency of the Hasbro version.

At this point, there's not a lot of price difference between the two, because one is antiquated and the other is imported....so it comes down to which one you like better.

Henkei has very G1-appropriate chrome and a darker, richer shade of blue.

Classics has lots of little sponsor in-jokes, a lighter blue color, and some of the body parts are grey instead of the same blue as on Henkei, which adds a little visual interest by breaking up the color scheme a bit.

If neither design appeals to you one over the other, then take note that the original classics mirage was produced before Hasbro QC went down the shitter, and the molds were still fresh. So you'll probably end up with an overall nicer, tighter figure with Classics.

I have both, but if I were to only keep one I'd stick with Henkei.

I went with Henkei and I like it, but the Hasbro one is nice. I like the Witwicky bit on the back end, that was a nice touch. It's a tossup to me; one of the figures where I can't argue strongly either why as to which is better because they're both slick (I just prefer Henkei's for most figures). Get both if you can, but you can't go wrong either way.

at this point the japanese one will probably be cheaper. or if you just want the mold, then i suggest one of the two con' versions.
