i usually love henkei versions, and again this one is more toon accurate, i guess.. but i voted for hasbro's cyclonus coz the darker colors really look better, and i dont like the half chromed nightstick.. the universe version just does it for me.. of course, if u usually buy two of the same figure, then go ahead and buy both.. but if its just one, get the hasbro

I don't get very many Henkei's but this one is a must. I vote for both.

I voted for Henkeie because I've always wanted a toon accurate Cyclonus but really they're both great choices. I just bought my second Universe Cyclonus today. He's awesome.

Yes. take the wings for example. silver. opposed to purple. opposed to CHROME purple.

Really? the henkei version has less color variety on it, and ends up looking rather boring.

The unpainted face doesnt bother me at all. I like it.

Compare it to the G1 toy.

    He has chrome pants. woooo.

I'd advise you to go with Hasbro. I'm really not a fan of Easter Cyclonus.

    Both.

Seriously. They both look great, for different reasons. Can't go wrong.

I'm picking up the Henkei version, just because I'm partial to the Henkei line over Hasbro for most figures (though with a few exceptions). Hasbro's version is nice if you don't want Easter Basket Cyclonus though.

Henkei. I passed on U Cyclonus a number of times. The offcoloring, the amount of gray, and the amount of rust colors just don't do it for me. Plus I do like the "show accurate"ness of the Henkei, not to mention the more uniform color scheme.

Henkei, as I'm afraid the Universe version will crumble in my hands due to Hasbro's horrendous QC

Both companies have equally terrible QC.

    Um, Not really

Hasbro toys more than likely will have looser joints than its Henkei counterpart

*compares Classics Starscream and Skywarp to Henkei Thundercracker*
    :lol  :lol  :lol

You crazy kids crack me up with your "Takara has better QC" stories. You really do. I just wish you wouldn't say it in public where unsuspecting people might not realise you're joking.

Not really. My Henkei Sunstreaker was a floppy mess compared to my Universe one.

Oh man! Takara has better quality control? Wow. Ok. MP-04 Prime, MP Megatron, and Henkei Thundercracker would like to have a word with you.

Both companies have sucky quality control from time to time.
If that's an isue the go for the Hasbro one. At least that way you'd be able to go to your local store to return it and get a better one quickly.

I thought all the toys come from the same place. It's just the packaging and what Takara or Hasbro color/design wants from the production order. If its all made in the same factories in China, wouldn't the QC be the same for both?
