    i'm one of those guys who like's to only buy henkei or hasbro i do not like to buy both of the same character, so what one should i buy hasbro cyclonus
    or henkei cyclonus

    Henkei is more accuarte, but IMO Hasbro looks cooler.

    I'm going with Hasbro why because even though both are the same character and than the Henkei paint apps is more cartoon accurate I want to have my Cyclonus to be different and yet still be the extremely loyal solider to the extremely psychotic Galvatron that we know and love.

    While the Henkei version is more accurate to his show appearance... I'm going to have to say Hasbro on this one. A Decepticon warrior should never be rendered in pastel colors... it's embarrassing. The darker colors on the Hasbro version just look better IMPO.

    From what I've seen Henkei is rather close to accurate to the G1 cartoon... a bit off in hue but very close.

    Whereas Hasbro's color seems dead-on accurate to the G1 toy.

    The Henkei does look nice, especially Nightstick, but Hasbro's darker purple still looks better to me.

    I passed on Universe Cyclonus TWICE just to wait for Henkei to drop. Mine is finally on its way. Cant wait!!

    Hasbro!...the paint scheme on Henkei Cyclonus just doesn't do it for me...I like the darker purple of Universe Cyclonus better.

    Henkei. Hasbro looks like a Tel... alright. But not as good as Henkei. :)

    its not actually as pastally in person. is is rather purple though. i love him though and dont regret trading up my universe cyclonus for him

    Anyway buy which ever one floats your boat.

    For me the Henkei one straight up dominates the Hasbro version. Which I think ended up like a half painted prototype. What with the flat unpainted gray face (it was ugly on Classics Starscream too) and the mismatched molded plastic colors on his thighs. Plus I find Hasbro's purple too dark for (the always has been Purple) Cyclonus.

    Takara's Nightstick is better too.

    I like the Dark Purple Color more so just more Menacing. The Henkei looks like he popped out of Strawberry Shortcake or Smurfs Toon. Hes just so bright and Cheery looking.

    I foresee Henkei Cyclonus' value tripling half a year from now.
    So buy as many as you can!
