News Post: Hasbro India Begins South Asian Region Distribution Of Transformers Toys
If you thought the quality was going down the drain before.....
"...then get ready to react in a really embarrasing way to news completely god damn unrelated to quality of manufacturing."
Get a grip dude.
You ever see the garbage Funskool put out in the past? Everybody has been complaining about the quality going down the toilet since they moved from China to Vietnam. Just wait & see what happens when they move to India. I may be wrong but we'll see.
These toys are only being sold in South Asia. Unless you personally live in Bangladesh why do you care what their QC will supposedly be?
Shrugs. More money for 3P then.
Whatever. Just wait til ALL Transformers say MADE IN INDIA.
Different factory/company, different standards.
Not that I don't understand your concern with Funskool products, but these won't be Funskool products.
The figures that are showing up, are they from the Indian plant? If so, how many lines can one plant work on at once? Evergreen and RiD2015 were seen, and movie toys were mentioned, will they also be producing Generations toys as well?
Good news for India based collectors/fans.
This has devolved into one of the stupidest threads I've seen because of one of the dumbest posts I've seen.
Just because you can open your mouth doesn't mean you should. And if you have a thought...don't.
I would love to see a Bollywood theme TF giftset from Hasbro india
Wait...45usd for a deluxe in South Asia? That is abyssmal!
Edit: voyagers are 75usd in mexico? I thought i had it ruff in Aus but this seems borderline unethical
leaders are 75usd in mexico, voyagers are like 35$ or less.
Oops! My bad!
Optimus and Megatron randomly start a dance number in the middle of a battle.
Guys it's DISTRIBUTION, not MANUFACTURING that's coming to India, that means Hasbro gets to sell more toys.
So it sounds like the Bumblebee toyline will be coming in December, not June? That sort of makes sense, considering we haven't seen them at all yet.
Just look at the variety of replies & comments on this thread..it's a fun and hilarious thread lololololol
"Back in late 2015, we broke the news of Hasbro expanding their business in India and establishing a toy manufacturing plant in the aforementioned country as a subsequent outcome from new the business venture."
"Sure enough in an article published on The Wall Street Journal dating January 6th, Hasbro is indeed moving some of its toy manufacturing to India; including our beloved franchise Transformers."
Yes, they are moving some of the manufacturing there. However, the factory is not an Indian one, but rather an extension of the factory in China.
