I bought Sideways, took it out of the box, transformed it, and then I notice one of the fins on top of his head is bent.

So I send an email to Hasbro to see if they can send me a replacement head.

They answer "We are sorry to hear that this product was broken. We will send you a new part."

This was the 16 of June.

Today Sideways head arrives... or, no. This is what they send me:

    60,000 dollar question:

If there is no Sideways in that box are you going to call and complain?

Did they send you Sideways in the box or did they send you a whole Wave 2 case?

    HA!

It's probably full of Wheelies, Mudflaps, and Rampages.
    They're just giving em away.

    A boat's a boat, but a mystery box could be anything...even a boat!

It is indeed excactly what it appears to be; a Wave 2 box.

    Whelie x2
    Skids x2
    Chromia x2
    Deep Desert Brawl
    Smokescreen

So... I'm happy, i guess. Contains two figure I don't already have (Smokescreen and Brawl). :lol

Might be less happy if I was stuck with a borken Sideways, but I kinda thought something like this might happen, so I've already bought a new one. :D

    EDIT:
Typing up an email right now

Lol. Hasbro is nice, they do more than just tell you to go back to the store.

Wow...that was quite CRUEL of them! They torture you even more with a box of wave 2!

Wheelie, Skids and Chromia are good. But as you said...you got pretty much repaints as to what you didn't have...technically!

    I'd put in the email...

Hi Hasbro...thanks for sending me this...um..well I guess I can't say awesome replacement, because it didn't even have the figure I initially needed...considering I own 3 of these figures and now have 2 spares of each...and the repains of the first movie line that I already had and didn't really have desire to own. Why must you torture me so!? All I wanted was a new Sideways! Even though it would of made little sense, you could of sent me the part I needed replaced even, so I could stare at that and have literally no desire to attempt to destroy my figure to get the new part on. At least I would be tortured with the right part! WHY HASBRO? WHYYYYYYY!?!

The least they could of done was send you a box of wave 1. At least you'd have all sorts of Sideswipes, Sideways, Rampages..and whatever the hell else comes in that wave that I can't quite recall!

    :lolol

That sounds like a win to me. Apparently I need to have some broken figures myself. Did you use their normal customer serivce e-mail to open the inquiry?

you should email them and tell them that all the figures they gave you have broken heads, and you were wondering if they could send replacement parts.

I... man, that was three months ago. I think I used some feedback-form on their website... oh yeah, found it. I went to hasbro.com, clicked on customer service --> contact Hasbro --> Email Hasbro --> Email Us.

    That gives you a web-form.
