I don't think anyone discounted they were manufactured, it is more an issue that they were released in Asia, but right now don't have a "home" in the US because retailers have opted to move on to Prime/Robots in Disguise.

I would NOT be surprised to see these guys pop up in discount locations later on, but you are NOT going to be seeing Que and Soundwave at mass retail (which, for many fans, is the only way a figure can be released)

These could be just stock images and actually just be Takara's that he is mailing. But that does prove that some some were made by Hasbro. Although I am beating that he is shipping the Takara figure. I guess I'll find out when he arrives. Because I ordered a Soundwave from this exact seller.

No, this is Soundwave, but Hasbro labeled their figure as Wheeljack, not que. The typo is my error.

I think the Hasbro one is more common? Although the Takara one is qualified just slightly by the fact they used a Hasbro card, with a clamshell bubble, and put a Takara Tomy sticker on it.

As opposed to Que's card which has no Hasbro logos, and the "for sale in japan only" blurb.

I believe i typed something along the the lines of QueJack as a nod to its two names.

If I was able to find a Que on a Hasbro card instead of a Takara one, i would've bought one and saved the $10-15.

    So...

The Takara Soundwave also has a card packaged on the front, which further differentiates it from a Hasbro one.

Hasbro did produce these for Asian markets and outside of Japan, they would be packaged in the same packaging we get in the States.

Also, given that they didn't produce any for the States, there aren't any that can "wind up" at discount outlets here.

Soundwave is the only unreleased deluxe on a Hasbro card. Leadfoot & Que are on Takara card.

Does anybody know when the Trilogy line is supposed to hit Asia? I'm going to wait on LF & Q even if they are repaints.

Also does anybody know where I can get legends class rotf arcee?

Did you mean Soundwave rather than "LF"? I'm not sure there are any repaints of DX Leadfoot in the pipeline at all.

Not in those quantities, with all of the eBay sellers having "over 10" in stock.

Hasbro Soundwave was released in Asian markets, as mentioned above. But the North American shipment was never produced, because the retailers cancelled.

I have several Hasbro DOTM Soundwave Deluxes. They are quite common in asia. If you want Leadfoot and Que though you need to pay out your butt and go the Takara Tomy route. I did and it still is hard to sit down!

I was seeing them a lot at my local 5 Below. I dunno if you're anywhere near one of those though.

Of course, if Hasbro hasn't yet sent their last supplies of Que and Wheeljack to Asia, we could see the price drop in the coming months (or they could sell them to TJ MAxx/Ross and we will find them in 8 months).

Either way, I have my Soundwave coming now and I am doing the Topspin alt transformation to make him my Leadfoot (9 bucks for a Armored Topspin and a few bucks for paint vs. 60 dollars for Asia Leadfoot...yeah, not that hard to figure out).

Now I just need a good Que standing...

35$ and free shipping, that doesn't seem like a bad price at all.

    *yawn*

We've known about this for forever. Stores don't want these, now Asia gets our left over goods and is all the better for it.
