I've made a few recent purchases for the HFTD lines, and I just noticed the oddest thing. The "Warning Choking Hazard....not suitable for children under 3 year old" thing is being moved or hidden 0_0 I apologize for the pics being taken from my webcam, but this is the best I can do.

Here is the package for my Breacher, the warning is a sticker itself on the package.

On the directions for the same figure, the warning is also a sticker placed on there.

Now here is where it gets weird. On my Terradive packaging, you can see that the warning is indeed printed on the package from underneath the sticker, but for whatever reason it is hidden by a sticker.

And when you get to the directions, there is no sticker, no warning printed on it or nothing, in fact, I don't know if theres a warning anywhere on this package. 0_0 has anyone else noticed this before?

No, and you shouldn't have either.

All those decisions are made by lawyers. Don't really think it affects us very much.

Yes, it's a conspiracy to hide the dangers of Transformers toys. Hasbro wants your children to choke to death. Survival of the fittest!

It absolutely was not a package that somehow made it through without the warning label. No, that's beyond reason.

The answer seems pretty clear to me-

Children will try to eat Breacher. Obviously, they don't try to eat Terradive. Duh, who would?

    Mystery solved.

Obviously I'm over 3 and don't put toys in my mouth, so I have nothing to worry about lol But the thing that is getting me is, aside from it being a law for those warnings to be on there. If some kid did choke on that figure or died or what not, you probably could win over in court because the warning label was not visible to the consumer.

Hmm, my packaging for Terradive has brown tape over the warning. Got it from HTS. I'll have to start checking in stores.

I saw this exact same thing the other night when I picked up my Terradive...I was gonna say something about it here, but I totally forgot until I saw this thread...The warning label seems to be blacked out on Terradive, but not Axor or Tomahawk.
It's kinda strange considering how anal retentive the US is about warning labels on things.
I wonder if some statute changed that no longer required such a warning...
Looking around at the figures I still have carded, apparantly inconsistencies are common throughout the lines...
Freeway Jazz and Animated Arcee have the warning on their packages, but El Soudwave and Waspinator do not.
Movie 1 Deluxe Barricade has the label, but Fracture doesn't.
Beast Wars TM Tarantulas has the warning, but Fuzor Quickstrike does not...
I even have inconsistencies with Iron Man and Marvel Legends figs...

Terradive has a sticker, Electrostatic Jolt has nothing printed there, and Tomahawk has the warning in clear view. All toys from a single assortment, just to add confusion.

I just checked resources to see what the official image from hasbro has. It has the Chocking hazard visible, but all the ebay links on the page have it with the tape covering it. I'd just chalk it up to a simple mistake. Who knows.

I wonder if they printed the wrong number, like accidently printed "33 & up" or something. :lol

No, you can clearly see it through the sticker. I can understand like in Breacher's case where they may have forgotten it and added the sticker, but the covering it up when its printed on the package just baffles me.

are you seriously pissed off that they omitted a warning?

or are you one of those folks that does not understand the concept of do not use water with electric devices or that little kids should not eat their plastic toys?

not meaning to be mean....but WTF?

No lol I could care less honestly if the warning is on there or not. I just noticed it and thought it'd be something interesting to discuss and hear opinions about.

:lol  You're such a miscreant... oh, uh...

Wow... um, easy there tiger. Did you even really read SectorStar's post? Because there is absolutely nothing in it that even suggests that he is "pissed off" over this. He merely started a discussion about Transformers on a message board made for, uhm, discussing Transformers... oddly enough. // sarcasm.
