Hasbro confirms Masterpiece Rodimus Prime

    According to the TCC Oct/Nov 2010 issue, Hasbro will be releasing MP Rodimus Prime as an exclusive (TBD). Unfortunately, this version will not come with the trailer like the Takara Tomy version. However, Hasbro will make sure that he has his own, new accessory pieces. The release date has not been announced.

    yeah, old news but his thread reminded me I need to cancel my Takara MP Rod preorder. I’ll wait for the much cheaper Hasbro version sans trailer. Don’t need the trailer.

    Yes as mentioned above, this has already been reported...however since the trailer won't be included I don't believe it will be called Rodimus Prime...more likely it will be named either "Rodimus" or perhaps "Autobot Hot Rod" (since they seem the throw the "Autobot" qualifier in front of any name they can't get the rights to on their own like "Autobot Jazz", "Autobot Ratchet", ect.

    Gawd damn... you guys are quick! I'll most likely pick up the Hasbro version as well. Looking forward to accessories!
