I will never understand the idea that people already rich for their successes should be given awards as well. It's all a bunch of self congratulatory nonsense.

He's gonna die like the rest of us. Money does not equal success. He can't take it with him.

Financial gain doesn't negate the intelligence needed for the success or mean we shouldn't recognize what's counted as a historic achievement. It's not much different than sports players or musicians that get inducted to halls of fame. It's about skill and how those skills are applied that may have altered the landscape of their respective fields. Whether it has to do with monetary gain or not(though in this instance it does, as it is the business world, and monetary gain is what determines how successful something is).

So that's really kind of cool to be recognized for such an accomplishment and to be marked in history books to be recognized as a historic contributor of that field.

And as such, it bodes well for us fans too. The more recognized hasbro is for its success, the more retailers will want their products, which means more finances for different product ranges, giving us the collectors more room to get what we like as well as for the company to expand and try new things.

This is corporate propoganda, not transformers news. This is also nothing more than the elite patting themselves on the back. Awards are not hard to obtain at this level - they are simply purchased.

    """""brand blueprint""'"""
Anything in there mention dumbing down your products and raising the prices on your worsening product and forcing your Japanese co-owner of the brand to follow the lead?
This is the ultimate insult ; to award this level of laziness

Anything that brings him closer to stepping down by retirement or other means is good by me. Like it or not, he did spearhead the films which were a major industry factor for over a decade.

But that time has passed and TLK being a massive failure with him at the forefront, since the movies are essentially literally the only thing he cares about because it put him in the CEO position, it's time for somebody who can take Hasbro out of this steep nosedive before something ACTUALLY crippling occurs.

I made a point that I no longer agree with , opinions change with time. Idk why I brought it up in like , January when brand unification was first being rolled out. I needed to vent then and I realize how stupid that comment sounded looking back. But the current ways things are going at Hasbro isn't exactly worth defending if that's what you are trying to do. I did at one point , made myself look like a fool but upon listening the other side , I received insight
