do you have more hasbro or henkei classics? cuz henkei classics only look good with other henkei's, and hasbro's only looks good with other hasbro's lol.

and they do not mix well at all.

I think it should be based on personal preferences and also what the rest of your collection looks like in terms of this line. I have both versions and they are both good figures. I actually prefer the Hasbro version...it has more of a contrast in colors.

Comparisons if you need help trying to decide:

I very much disagree. I have some Henkei and some Classics and they mix very well. I still don't have Silvestreak, but I will be going with the Hasbro version.

For the new deluxes, these are my preferences:

    Prowl - Henkei
    Sunstreaker - Henkei
Octane - still undecided, probably Henkei
    Sideswipe - Universe
    Bluestreak - Universe
    Galvatron - Universe
    Ironhide - Henkei
    Smokescreen - Henkei
    Hound - Henkei
    Cheetor - Universe
    Cyclonus - Henkei
    Dinobot - Henkei
    Hot Shot - Henkei
Ratchet - still undecided, probably Henkei

Print off a picture of Hasbro Silverstreak and Henkei Streak (nitpicking, heh heh), stick them to a dartboard, then aim a dart between the two pics. Whichever the dart lands closer to, get that one. Simple!

Ahem. I suggest Silverstreak, mainly because it is likely gonna be cheaper. From what I've seen, all Streak has going for him is a silver face, more realisticaly coloured wheels and clearer windows. The black they chose looks wierd to me. Then there's the throme, er, chrome (I'm nasty like that), that depends on your views.

In closing, don't make lots of threads asking which toys to buy. Just find some pics and make your own damn choices!

I only collect Henkeis, so naturally I'll be going for Henkei when I get around to it.

However, I voted for Hasbro as the colour scheme is a little better. If you're one of those collectors that don't mind "mix and matching" (I am I'm afraid!) then go for the Hasbro on this one. One of the VERY few times I'd recommend that!

Hasbro. Also, I personally prefer the name Silverstreak.

    Hasbro.

I may have had to paint the white face silver, but I prefer the black.

I also prefer calling him what you did, not "Silverstreak".

Get the Hasbro version - he's easily the best colored version of the mold, and that includes both Prowls and Smokescreens.

Henkei Bluestreak FTW!! Also, at least on mine, the doors/wings don't pop off during transformation, my Hasbro version's however, his pops off every time.

I have the Hasbro myself. Not so much because I think either is "better" than the other. Both are pretty much on equal standings with me, look-wise. It just came to what I'm willing to pay.

I payed $40 for Henkei Megatron early last year. It was worth it for me. $50 for Henkei Thundercracker. Again, I was just willing to pay that for the figure. Just the same, I'm willing to pay for Henkei Cyclonus, even when I own the Hasbro.

Really, neither toy is better than the other (despite who says otherwise). Get the one you're willing to dish the cash for.

I like the black on the universe figure, and how well it hides the piece that the head is attached to.

Niether! KO Blue Bluestreak, I hope to find one. As for Universe I'm happy enough with Hasbro's.

Hasbro all the way. Classier dark red, true black hood, and blue waist highlights beat out the Henkei scheme. I even like the white face better on the Hasbro version, for the contrast it provides (and because I get tired of silver TF faces).

It's funny how the "Henkei vs. Classics" issue has really become a boxing match, with different rounds going to each company. Hasbro easily won the Silverstreak round, in my opinion, and Takara easily won the Smokescreen and Ratchet rounds. And some, like Galvatron, are kind of a tie. We need a scoreboard or something (although that might not work out so well... by the very nature of fandom there would be too much disagreement to settle on anything).

Hasbro. They did a great job with this one. If it were Smokescreen, then I would say Henkei.

my vote for hasbro... i dont like the chromed weapons of the first 3 waves of the new henkei figures... however, some people say the paint apps are generally better on the henkei (im not sure about this) so if u dont mind the chromed weapon, go for it
