Well i was finaly going to get SDCC Nemesis Prime but my mom forgot the password long story short hasbro was soposed to give us our password but the email has yet to be sent and its been about a hour. we tried to make a new acount but our coputer blocked us out. Is it normal for Hasbro to be slow on this?
So because an e-mail is slow, Hasbro is bad? Dude, there are numerous other elements involved in Hasbro sending you a password reminder. That message has to pass through several stages and at least one mail server. Any one of those could be causing the holdup here. I know in the internet age everyone is accustomed to NOW NOW NOW and instantly getting everything, but it's not going to kill you if it takes until tomorrow morning for the message to arrive. Patience is a virtue, even on the internet.
Well it is late Saturday, my guess is that because it is not considered a business day might count for them been a bit slower than normal. But, it could be many reasons.
This. I have several funny stories related to that... But this is not the time or place for them. Anyhoo, Nemmy prolly won't sell out tonight, so you don't really have anything to worry about.
Did you check your spam folder? Oftentimes a password reminder gets tagged as spam and shuffled off to a spam folder accordingly automatically. EDIT Beaten to the punch, I see. What Moony said. As for impatience, it's been out for weeks, if you're really that impatient, why didn't you order him when he first popped up online? (Note, that's rhetorical, I don't really want an answer.)
Considering some of the other stuff Hasbro has done consider yourself lucky. You could be a GI Joe fan and have to deal with them only making enough figures for the scalper market since the really hot scalper bait is never for sell in the Hasbro Toy Shop.
Of you could question retailers not ordering enough GI Joe to satisfy demand rather than Hasbro not making enough figures for no apparent reason. Young people today. No patience. Just because their internet is a series of tubes they think everything is instant. Back in our days the internet was just a big truck...
That's why you go on shipment days. I've seen 3 bats and 4 serpentors on top of whatever else as current stock. Gone back 3 days later, and it's stripped clean of anything decent worht buying. That's not hasbro, that's the store ordering cases screwy.
This struck me funny for some reason. I have nothing useful or helpful to say otherwise. Sorry. But I got a good chuckle out of reading that.
I dunno how we coped before the internet was everywhere for everyone. I think letters were delivered by dinosaurs. Or what you did when fishing: "Once caught it goes internet..."
Doesn't hurt to keep up the attempt either as I managed to find a BAT on the shelves yesterday that must have been taken off the rack and someone that worked there must have put it back. Sort of off topic but it's an insanely cool toy so I could see even people who weren't into GI Joe but just robot fans going after these. Would look a lot cooler with Cybertron Defence team fighting the BATs instead of the Scrap Metals. Would also be cooler looking druids for the Jedi to fight than the turkey druids.
