    Set lasers for adorable.

Because, y'know, they don't have lasers, because they're... forget it, the show should be fun for the little'ns.

Thanks! They applied for them as Transformers Rescue Bots and as Rescue Bots on April 14th actually. :)

A show dedicated to younger viewers can only mean that TF: Prime will have more woggle room to become darker and more violent and more mature for us more aged fans.

Im loving TF Prime even more.

I don't know why but these Rescue Bots look like those little robot heroes a year or so back,I wonder if thats what this new line is based on.I sure hope so,as those things were cute as he**,I got lots of those when they came out,as they were so different from the main tf line. Can't wait to see these and the show too.

On a TV-Y7 rating? I think they've pushed as far as they can go.

Prime isn't for us, it's for kids aged 7-12. If you happen to enjoy it anyway, that's a bonus.

(I'm really getting tired of the phrase 'more violent and more mature'. Getting pret-ty played out.)

Maybe this show will be fun like Animated was. I don't know what it is about TF: Prime, but it is missing most of that fun.

So this is basically the equivalent of the "Super Hero Squad"?

Ehh, I'm sure I'll check it out a little. I say it's good - get the kids into TFs when they're young!

Not only that, it's similar to the Star Wars Galactic Heroes Animated Series that is coming up as well. What a great era to be 5 years ago.

Could be, but going by the story book shown at Toy Fair, it could be more Rescue Heroes and Go-Go-GoBots.

Some time in the 90's the word "mature" came to mean "way more immature than usual". I guess a lable like "designed specifically for 14 year old males" just doesn't sell media to 16 year old males the way a lable like "mature" does.

Rip his head off, flash some boobs, and drop some f-bombs...like a mature person would do.

As long as their mischief making Decepticons i might watch this.

I think it's a good alternative to the Darker Transformers Prime for parents and kids, let the older brothers watch Prime..

I like Prime fine, but it does often feel overly measured, almost like it's self-conscious about how seriously it should take itself, kinda like a show-wide version of the way Optimus Prime speaks in it. Something more lighthearted and funny would be welcome as a counterpoint, even if it is for the the younger kiddies.

It'll be fun to see the inevitable complaints that "Rescue Bots" toys and show aren't appealing enough to 20-30-something-year-old sensibilities, however. :)
