Power rangers ?! Ugh. That show sucked from day 1. Horrible acting , ridiculous outfits , and an even more ridiculous story line to go along with it. I think there was a reason it was for sale .

Watch Super Sentai Zyuranger. You would totally change your mind. It's both completely gonzo AND pretty dark at the same time! It's also understandable why Saban cut it up and reshot the series with American actors with a completely different storyline, too...kids would have had nightmares (or at least really messed up dreams)!

Yeah, it's kinda interesting, then again, Saban did also dubbed digimon, A show that basically had alot of crazy stuff happen.

Speaking of Digimon, i wonder if owning Saban brands might mean he can have the rights to Digimon as well?

I never cared much for Power Rangers either...I was 16 or 17 when they came out and they were just too corny for me to get into. I’ve seen a few of the toys that are somewhat appealing, but I’ve never bought any. Who knows...maybe a head-on collision with TFs will produce something more interesting...

I will say that the upcoming adaptation is right up Hasbro's alley.

You have one main mecha that transforms from a sports car to a lion to a robot and includes a "header" which transforms into a smaller robot. The other two main mecha also have headers but they transform from just an animal to a vehicle. The three then combine into the main gestalt.

For the secondary mecha, you have a crane triple changer (Crane/Robot/Beetle) and a jet/beetle that can combine as well.

Then you have yet a third larger triple changer.

It's all good Transformer-y stuff and one of the biggest disappointments when Saban skipped it several years ago.

All I keep thinking is comic crossover. It just HAS to happen.

We couldn’t get a Justice League crossover, but this would be the next best thing!

Oh wow, we're in for a treat now, I was really hoping this went through. I'm confident that they will do well with the franchise, Bandai has been dumbing things down to Minicon complexity.

It's a good match. Both brands have made a lot of money without delivering anything beyond memorable moments on screen.

I would not expect much to change on the media front.

As a fan of both Transformers and Power Rangers... I don't know how to feel about this On te one hand, this might mean we could finally have a Power Rangers cartoon. Like how Dreamworks overhauled Voltron.

No kidding AT ALL. The BOOM! Power Rangers series is the Power Rangers series we all have wanted and deserved, it's so well done and updated, both serious yet cheesy as the original. Shattered Grid, despite just having a few issues out, is the ultimate PR story.

I will pray that Hasbro sees this and don't take the series away from BOOM.

Or they can do what what they've done with M.A.S.K., Gobots, Visionaries & Micronauts, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!

PR is still a pretty big franchise, they’ll find a way to make back more than they spent.

Did anyone else notice they also got My Pet Monster? Here’s a crossover idea: My Pet Monstructor!

And if their distribution is as stellar as it is with Transformers nobody will ever be able to find any new PR toys in stores. At least now there are some PR toys in stores. Get ready for empty pegs that never get restocked.
