Soooooo...is this going to be like a special toyline or something? I mean, does a Hall of Famer receive a new toy? I wouldn't mind a new Optimus Prime toy (or just a rerelease of the masterpeice figure cause I missed it the first time around and DON'T want to spend $200 on a toy).

This all seems incredibly pointless. Hasbro is just producing a list of their own characters that people like. Now if they were to announce more about what they could be doing with the list, sure, good idea, but as of now it's just a list. It's like Nintendo making a list of their all time best games. In the end it's just a list, it's not as though they're building a monument or museum for them to then add to every year.

if you look at it from someone who isn't as familiar with the line, Soundwave is instantly recognizable.

G1 Bumblebee: The little guy. Turns into a VW Bug. Personality-wise, he's basically Radar from M.A.S.H. His primary funtion is espionage (though I've never see him successfully spy on anyone. Did he go to the Chuck Bartowski school of spying or something?) Has been seen using a gun maybe 3 times.

Movie Bumblebee: The "little" guy. Turns into a pimped-out 2007 Chevy Camaro. Personality-wise, he's a cross between WALL-E and Silent Bob. His primary function is ???? Has a Mega Man-esque arm cannon.

Animated Bumblebee: The little guy. Turns into a compact car of indistinct design so as to avoid licensing fees. Personality-wise, he's Sonic the Hedgehog, without the insane speed. His primary function is... repair bot? Has "stingers" that shoot electricity.

Gotta go with Soundwave. As a cartoon, he was cool and calm and always had a cassette for every occasion. As a toy, to me he was the best of the G1s. He's just bad ass.

I was gonna say Jetfire, but Soundwave sounds like the logical choice to me now.
