Does anyone else REALLY hope that:
    A. Vortex's toy will be able to turn into Jet mode?
    B. Is able to use the blades as a shield in Bruticus form?

I hope so. & if the blades can't, it's not a big loss.

Transforming him into jet mode might be as simple as detaching his rotors; they do come off, based on how the robot mode pictures have him wielding them as weapons.

Why would you even want him to turn into a jet? Vortex isn't a triple changer. And to my knowledge, there's never has been a triple changer with a jet/helicopter/robot configuration. So why does it matter?

No, Vortex is not a Triple-Changer. However, he will have the ability to shift from a helicopter into a jet-type craft when using the Boost function.

Doesn't look like it. Closest approximation might be removing the rotors. Doesn't look like any "wings" fold out.

I can see why they called Vortex a triple changer in that gameplay video, but he isn't truly a triple changer per say. If he were, then every single TF in WFC/FOC would be a triple changer. It's just a matter of the modified vehicle modes they have that can either be somewhat mobile battle platforms or slightly reconfigured to be fast vehicles. But I don't think Vortex will change into his "speed form" anyways.

    ...

The point is, do you WANT the toy to go into "Boost mode"?

In the clips it looks like the rotors move down to become the wings, and the rotors do NOT look like they work that way on the toy.

No, actually the back of the shoulders that are all purple fold out to the side, and the wings fold all around and face the back, like Movieverse Blackout (except they're ALL straight down the back).

I mean in the clips from the actual video game, his helicopter rotors become the jet wings when he boosts. The toy may have actual wings, but they will not work that way.
