As the title says has RiD Arcee and Ratchet been seen at US Retail yet?
Not in my area.
They're everywhere. We've just been keeping it secret from you.
(You don't mind TRU pricing, right?)
Not to my knowledege.
AL you didn't go to the News and Rumour section????
Hasbro put out an official statement that they will no longer ship Transformers to New Jersey. Sorry bro
What they are a Canadian exclusive? LOL.
Also, posted this because wasn't sure if this would make the news. I mean it is only 2 figures that are at TRU and HTS (sold out, but there). So just wanted to see if there was a sighting.
I don't think RID has hit Canada yet. I was just on my way to Cybertron.ca to find out.
The beauty of the the RID line is that it will be on shelves for a while, or long enough to hit sales prices, so there is no rush (aside from impatience) to get these. I will probably jump on Megatron the moment I see him though
Correct me if I'm wrong, Ratchet and Arcee are Wave 1.5.
The only place I've seen Wave 1.5 hit so far has been ToysRUs US online. From how it appears from Target's box stuff, I think we're only seeing Wave 1 PRID stuff right now hit ToysRUs, Target (street date 2/26) and Walmart.
The other downside is the case assortment.
1x Autobot Ratchet
Which means if you want an Arcee, or a Soundwave, or a Ratchet, good luck, but Wheeljack may have a little shelf life, and the pegs will be clogged with Bees and the occasional AngryJumper.
Wow, looks like I'll have to really look for Soundwave and Ratchet.
Those case assortments are ridicuolous! Come on, seriously? They should at least pack 3 of each!
I see a section full of Bumblebees in the future. Someone's gotta let Hasbro know that Bumblebee is not a hive. He is an individual Bee. You cannot troop build him.
Either that, or Hasbro needs to make a duplication ray, so that Bumblebee is now duplicated and match the forces of the Vehicons. In this way, people will actually buy the million or so they release.
You would think Hasbro learned from the DotM line that Bee's, although popular, still has an over saturation point. 3 Bees in 2 waves and another 2 in the third wave equals more Bees than demand. This will in turn make retailers stop ordering new stock. If they stick to the uber high Bee count I forsee problems with later waves.
Least I know which ones to get first. lol
Ratchet's on way in mail, but I'm back and forth on Arcee. Either way, it'll be nice to see these in stores soon hopefully.
Ratchet and Arcee, as far as I can tell, are only available off TRU's website right now, not at retail.
And though I agree about the ridiculousness of the Bumblebee thing, it does seem to vary by area; for the one week that my Target had RiD stuff on the shelves instead of in the back, EVERYTHING went quickly, even Bee.
Wait WHAT?!?! I live in New Jersey! Does that mean there won't be ANY RID toys here in New Jersey?!?!
I'm in NJ and I've had the toys, learn to take a joke.
Oh really? It was really a joke? Sorry!
Lol, I don't think Hasbro is watching the Jersey Shore and is like, you know those f'ing NJers, they don't deserve these prime toys. No TFers for Jersey Alone!
