Very cool game. Just got it today and I can't wait to play some more. If you are a Zelda fan or enjoy a good game, this is definitely a must have, plus it was free thanks to my princess...

I'll be adding it to my Birthday Wishlist for November, to go along with a trip to Phoenix for a ROC (Ridgeline Owner's Club) meeting on the 3rd of November and desert at The Cheescake Factory.

There are SO many Wii and DS games I've been waiting for, and I won't be able to afford any of them. Dang family birthdays and holidays.

 

Once you get the shovel and bombs the first few floors become trivial.

 

Finished the game, like it. Will replay all over again to look for more treasures.

 

Oh man, I just made it to the last map in the Ocean Castle with 18 seconds to spare.

 

This game rocked. There needs to be more DS games controlled this way. It makes for mucho replay value, though I'm beginning to get a little calous lump on the side of my middle finger. QUESTIONS:

1. What the hell do I do with the fish I've caught? If anything.
2. How/Where do you give the letter to Jolene? I fought her a bunch of times and now she's disappeared, hasn't popped up.
3. The Maze can go fcuk itself.

the old wayfarer's in the pool. The mermaid is the person you give the letter to, kill the monsters on the west side of Bannan island to make her appear and chase her around for a few times and she'll end up in the hut.

 

Not really chase her around, just boomerang her head and she will talk to you.

 

After starting from the save/midway point in the Ocean Temple you'll come to a floor where in the upper right corner is a safe zone with a ledge, containing a yellow time pot and a door/stairwell. How in the hell do you get up there? I'm thinking it's bunny easy, I just don't see it.

 

Same here, but then, it's better not to care about it, only wasting your hourglass.

After you get the phantom sword, I recommand you to start over from first floor again, as killing all the guards (smack from behind, at their asses) will net you treassures, crystal ball is one of them IIRC.

I beat the game a few days ago. It's a really fun one overall. The Comfort Stylus makes it much easier to play for me. That's the stylus that wraps around your finger, rather than having to hold a stylus like a pen all the time.

Too bad the online Battle mode is kinda weak. Too many buttheads who disconnect before they lose. I need to find someone to play with over Multiplayer, not Wi-Fi.

 

Okay... anyone caught a neptoona yet? Any tips on that?

 

I assume you've already caught the rusty swordfish and have the big fish lure. The neptoona is found in the swordfish shaped shadows for fishing. I'm not sure if there are any other requirements. It took me a while to find one. I got one after I already beat the game and had completed four big plays in battle mode. Not sure if those are necessary at all...
