Everything is getting smaller and out of scale. Would anyone say Hasbro is getting slack?

Ultra class has been stopped, Leader Decepticons has been stopped, They have made all the DOTM toys smaller just so they don't need to buy more plastic for the oversized Mech-Tech, They have stopped using silver paint so the ttoys that need it now look under painted, and the new Starscream is delux not voyager, so it now looks stupid next too the new voyager ironhide, they have been using the same voyager mold for Ratchet for ages and now he is delux.

Its called a cost cutting, and a bad economy. Notice the quality of the figures are not as they used to be for the last several years. Its not just the Transformer line too , they basically destroyed the Marvel Legends brand from Toybiz with their cost cutting ways and laziness.

Actually, I love Voyager Megatron's size vs. HFD Battle Blades Prime.

But scale has NEVER been consistent even back in G1. Especially G1.

I try not to let scale bother me too much, there's always going to be that problem with transformers.

to be fair, everyone knows G1 were a bunch of lines just thrown together. You would think that 25 years later, there'd be more more unity in the lines.

    No.

    1. Transformers are never in scale. 2. They're not smaller, the Mechtech weapons count as part of their mass. (plus they cost less now, anyway) 3. "Getting slack" is my new favourite term.

    No, I would not
Due to poor sales, Cybertron and universe ultras sat in stores for ages

Says who?? But even if they are stopped again it's boor sales. Both Movie Megatrons are horrible shelf warmers even leader Starscream that was awesome is sitting on clearance right now
Sadly, mech tech wastes not only plastic but multiple toolings, tons of springs, pins, and rivets. Since option 2 was raise the price of the deluxes the smaller figures work for me.

Figures have RARELY ever received the silver paint treatment unfortunately DOTM character designs have alot of silver in them but not Hasbro's fault. Hasbro is rereleasing the voyager starscream again if you need one as an exclusive. Deluxe starscream is awesoem because he is in scale with deluxe soundwave, bonecrusher, brawl, and voyager blackout.

They are using the voyager ratchet mold again this year, the deluxe mold looks great with voyager prime and deluxe ironhide.

so yeah it's all in your head

See... I like the DOTM figures better than most of the previous two movies' figures. They're complex without being frustrating. I can transform them back and forth easily and without the urge to toss it in a box. I can't say that with many of the other movies' toys...
