Call me crazy but I don't like them. My question is: do they leave behind that sticker residue stuff? If they do, how easy does it come off?

    Thanks for reading.

they shouldn't be any different than any other sticker that came with TFs. I love rubsigns, they remind me of all that was right in the world! A great nod to G1, they go perfectly with the Classics line.

I noticed they are easily removed, and still be abil to place elsewhere else. I had to reposition bumblebee's because it was crooked. And if you dont like'em on the classics, dont throw them away, you can allways use them on real g1s or give them to another fan to use.

They're pretty easy to take off and they don't seem like they leave any residue. I removed the one on Prime and moved it towards the right side of the truck in alt mode in that small square area, so it looks like official pics of the alt mode. In bot mode it ends up on top of his shoulder.

Wow, not to call you crazy, but heat sensative insignia...ie rubsign lol. Aww don't take'm off it's part of the "classic" look to them. I personally love them and I too have had to reposition, SS, Rodimus and BB all had crookedly applied signs :(  If you do take them off. Carefully rub some Goo Gone for any residue, however not TOO hard for it will also strip the paint.

I don't like rubsigns much either. I didn't like them in G1, I didn't like them in Beast Wars (though they didn't seem as bad), I don't like them now. Most of them I've had have never worked right, they stand out too much and half the time there was a regular faction symbol somewhere on the guy anyway. The last bit doesn't apply to Classics, but that's a different complaint.

I was about to take the one off Prime completely, but then I decided to move it to the inside of his arm kibble instead of on the outside - now I don't see the sticker except when I feel like it, it even appears to work correctly. Problems mostly solved. I only have Ops and Megs so I'll have to decide what to do with the others when I get them.

I removed the rub sign from Bumble Bee's chest and stuck it on the side of his left shoulder. It didnt leave any residue and came off very easy.

Rubsigns come off easier than even regular stickers and are unlikely to leave residue behind. I've been taking them off and moving them around for 20 years. I NEVER liked them as principal faction symbols and preferred putting them in more inconspicuous places, even as a little kid.

I've found the best way to remove them is to slide a small blade or knife under the edge and then lift. If you try to peel it with your finger it usually lifts off the top protective layer instead of the sticker itself.

Didn't leave any residue, when I took the one off my Prime, to move it.

I agree with KidDynamite about rub signs as primary insignias. My Bumblebee and Astrotrain already have real symbols on them, and Prime will be getting some, once I've finished with his paint apps

I usually removed the rubsigns as a kid. Nowadays I relocate them to somewhere more out of the way.

    Megatron - Didn't have one
Optimus - Fine where it is (I like how the silver of the sticer and the paint blend together)

Starscream - moved to top of air intake
Astrotrain - Moved to the purple bar that holds on the wings.
Rodimus - Moved to the back, just in front of the spoiler
Bumblebee - Moved to the hatchback.

Aaaand Reprolabels step in to fill the void! :)
