Has anyone like a sibling, son, daughter, or whatever, broken any of your figures? My cousin has broken many of mine, like Universe Smokescreen, Movie Barricade, and a couple others.

I've not had anyone break any of my figures growing up. If anything, I probably broke some of them myself. Also, my mom probably gave away whatever I had left before I entered my early teens.

This does remind me of something a member posted a couple of years. There was apparently a Transformer fan with a massive collection. It got so big that his family and significant other got involved and staged an intervention of sorts. During said intervention, everyone started taking some of the figures and breaking them in front him to prove they were just worthless pieces of plastic or something.

WOWWWW. You can't be serious! If I were that guy, I would then proceed to break all my family's stuff. "Oh, vintage fishing rod collection? They're just worthless pieces of aluminum *Snap*. Oh, priceless baseball card collection? Just paper *Burn*.

 

I think it was brought up in one of those "What does your family/significant other think of your Transformer collecting?" threads...

 

Depends on how badly it was. If they had to intervene, then it must've been very unhealthy for him. Sad story.

In a word yes. I have had people break them only twice. So basically now i have no problem letting people handle my figures but i do not let them transform them unless they are good with transformers.

I have a niece. I must be diligent. It is the only way to prevent tragedy.

 

Oh yeah my son broke Randy   I can still remember the look of horror on his face when the toy's hand just crumbled when he picked it up.

 

A childhood friend, who had way more TFs than me, ones i would never own, broke a Bluestreak that my Grandparents purchased for me.

That windshield lasted 2 seconds in his hands.

And no he didn't share his Prime, Jetfire, or complete set of Dinobots with me.

Wasn't so much 'broke' as much as 'lost', but a friend of mine was fiddling around with my TFA Starscream and somehow popped his fingers off and sent them flying.

To this day, I still have no idea where in my room they went...
