I used to take mine to school all the time.
G1's...okay, it was the 80s. and all that pastel fashion and hair spray clogged my brain.
Took Megs, Devs, Omega mostly for show and tell days.

the smaller ones were taken as boredom killers. i could transform Warpath or Powerglide in one hand, under the desk as i "listened" to the teacher.

When I was in middle school back during G1, I used to take them in all the time. One of my teachers thought they were the coolest thing ever. Especially the Dinobots, though she though Computron was great too.

Well, I was pretty much homeschooled all my life so I was never able to bring any of my TF toys to school.

HOWEVER, I had my Decepticon magnet and Classics Grimlock in my cubicle when I had my office job.

I took a few to Primary School, as most kids did in the 80's; unfortunately I went home minus an Astrotrain.
Years later, I found out who stole it, and who he sold it to. And in an act of revenge I stole money off the culprit and bought some Seacons.

Oh yeah. I've brought them to school and college. I was homeschooled so I always had a TF or two sitting by my while I did my work. And, well, now that I'm in college I do the same thing. Only, this time around, they just sit in my backpack until I'm on break.  Bluestreak and Slingshot (Universe Silverstreak / RoTF Airrazor) come the most often. Sometimes I'll bring (RoTF) Dune Runner or (Universe) Drag Strip. Lol, good times.

I used to bring my Joes to day care when I was like 6. Some bully took my Alley Viper and said he threw it in the lake. I now realize he pocketed it. Bastard. Oh well, now I have a compulsion to buy every alley viper I see.

My friend lent me his G1 Soundwave and Buzzsaw for me to draw up some CAD drawings of the tape player and minion. When not in my comp. class, the two were hidden in tape player mode in my backpack, almost like how G1 Soundwave would have infiltrated a school back in the 80's:lol

I took Ejector to work and propped him up on the side of my cubicle so that he looked like he was holding onto the side, with just his eyes staring at the person next to me for 8 hours.
