I am very interested in a product on their site but any attempts to communicate go unanswered. Has anyone been able to order from them as of late?

IRC the owner of transrepro had serious health problems, so the repro parts making is on hiatus until he gets better.

I thought he had stopped all together?

There used to be threads about this all the time, and that people were supposed to be taking over in his stead.

But I haven't heard many good stories.

Yeah, i'd avoid that web site until I hear an official "I'm back" from the owner.

I restarted my collecting 2 1/2 years ago. This site has been in this same situation the entire time. I think it's too bad it doesn't just get removed cause like someone said, this comes up regularly in forums.

From the front page of Transrepro.com:

"Transrepro.com is still open. Things are just not going as good as they should right now, but in time, we will get back to somewhat of a normal operation. We are not taking on any new orders until ALL outstanding orders are completed one way or another. So if you have an outstanding order, please place "Outstanding Order" in the subject line of the email with as much information as possible. Forward or Copy Paypal email and send it to us if possible.

Thank you for your patience and understanding."

Also, check the news section there and the results from a search of past threads on TFW2005.

Yeah. The poor guy's been out of commission for a while now.

A damn shame on all fronts.
