if so, what do you think?

 

i want one, but cant really justify it becuase my 360 works fine, and i dont NEED a bigger hard drive.

 

the gamestops in my area still have some. even though i had a thread that asked for help of which one to get, i still dont know which one to get.

 

I can't justify picking up an Elite when my 360 works fine. Sure I do want a biger HDD, but not at that price. I do like the idea of HDMI, if for nothing more than to cut down on cable clutter. If I see the HDD on sale one day, I ay pick it up. Though not being able to transfer your video licenses is weak sauce.

 

I picked one up yesterday and I am more than satisfied with it. Don't forget, Gamestop is offering $250 in trade for your old 360. The difference for the Elite would then be $229. The 120 GB HD is $180 by itself. So for me, it was totally worth the extra $50 for the black finish and the HMDI function.

 

Hey! That's not half bad actually if game stop is going to be buying your old 360. I'm still keeping my old 360, I really dont need the elite.

 

I'm still going back and forth. I need the bigger HD and I would like to hook my console up through HDMI but its not something I need. I'm still on the fence with selling my old 360 (I can get $300 from my live in brother-in-law but the inconvience of having my games "borrowed" for weeks at a time and having to actually listen to him, plus the length he plays games I'm sure it would melt the next day) or just spend the money on the racing wheel and the bigger HD instead.

Most likley I'm going to wait until they change the chip setup so its the cooler running system.

 

As people have been saying, I'd like to have one but I don't need one. Yeah a HDMI port would be nice and the black case is cool but my current 360 is more than enough right now. But I did get a black controller yesterday.

 

i'd like to get one...cause it's black and looks cool....but there aint any games that i want to play...and i dont have a HDTV...

 

I have a friend whos planning on buying a 360, I told him wait for the newer internals and buy an Elite, then i'd trade him my current 360 and 100 bucks for it. So once it happens, i'll be happy.

 

I just bought my 360 in Feb, so I'm in no hurry to upgrade at this point.

 

I picked one up yesterday after church. Still haven't bought a game for it yet or even hooked it up...but very soon!
