the set cost way damn too much plus hard to find in uk
if you're going to put the fansproject set on it, i wouldn't skimp on the cost for the set, cheap not quite fitting right plastic = broken pieces in holes that won't come out
That was the plan but you made don valid points.
Also check into the Energon version. It looks good on the FP set. I found one dirt cheap. KOtoys.com has a KO Suprlerion set so maybe a Bruticus set isn't too far away.
I say just pick up the three Energon versions. There's a ton of re-released Universe Barricades out there. And then nab up Kickback and Blackout individully. The total cost should run you much less than going for the full set. A set where you're only going to use three figures anyway.
Yeah got transformers club version of onslaught so just need an arm and leg
I have a ROTF Swindle that you can use in lieu of Vortex. Yes, There are Very Few HQ KOs out there, Namely the G1 reissues and the KO Binaltechs.
You can see if your local Family Dollar has any Barricades, and you could grab a Blast-Off and Swindle from someone on the boards here. If you get lucky, that could be your cheapest option.
EDIT: Nevermind, thought you were in the US. Maybe you could find one of those Superions that's apparently clogging shelves and make a trade?
They did make a KO Energon Bruticus, but they switched the standard connection points with just pins. You can see the KO at 3:40 of the video, pegs at 4:40:
