There's nothing wrong with Guitar Hero.. I play both series and the only difference is GH has faster speeds and the difficulty is higher.

I know GH: WoR bombed because apparently people don't want to spend money on the controllers, so I was hoping RB3 would do well so at least one music game survived. Now it looks like we're going to lose both of them, and as a fan of that genre, I don't like that one bit.

I've still got to wait until Christmas to play RB3, and I hope it's still actually being supported by then.

Wait...again? How did they originally change ships?

Anyway, I can't really be bothered anymore I guess..Guitar Hero was awesome. Rock Band was/is awesome..but it's been run into the ground, mainly thanks to Activision milking Guitar Hero until the last penny - but even Rock Band is guilty of having released too much sequels. (Although Beatles and Lego versions > singing Bon Jovi songs with dead Kurt Cobain).

Well yeah, there was that, and the fact those powers made the game too easy. The storyline was nice, but the powers and transformations did screw it up. I just play Quickplay so I kind of pushed that out of my head.

As much as we all would like to believe it still stands for Music, fact is that even back in the day when it was a music channel, it's sole purpose is marketing new fads.

They just changed from marketing new music to other stuff. I don't believe the intention behind such a channel has changed a bit.
