    Hey all,

I've been seeing the Happywell Roadbots for a while now,but have yet to buy
    any,mainly b/c I am familiar with Happywell's other tranforming toys,basically
cheap plastic. So my question is has anyone bought any and are they the
same crappy plastic as the other happywell figures?.I need to know on
whether or not to buy some or not. Even tho they look hot as hell,I don't want
them if they are gonna break or not line up when I turn them into vehicles. And
even tho some of them are really affordable, they aren't if they break the first
time you try to transform them. So if anyone has these LMK. Thanks all.

Good thing it's dark down there, don't want it popping like an ant.

How can you see that thing with all the cyber-hair down there? It's literally like looking for a needle in a haystack...

According to the BBTS preorder page, they're pretty decent quality. I know what you mean about the other Happy Well products, they seem to have really raised the bar with these. I saw a couple in person a while back and they seemed to be pretty good. Didn't get them since I'd just paid up for a Twincast, though.

I seem to be lucky enough to usually be the first one to get these. I have to say they are always great quality. I just picked up the Lambo today. The plastic is fantastic, and everything lines up properly every time. I think its strange that as alt's are getting uglier and stranger, Roadbots are coming closer to G1 styling and their quality control is improving. Also, they have much better licenses. Lambo's rock.

Are these upgrades from the original Roadbots? Are they supposed to be the same "characters"? I've never heard of Happywell before now, but Roadbots have been around since G1 days if I'm thinking of the right thing.

I just found out about the original roadbots the other day. These guys are in no way related. They don't even have characters. They have no factions, no story, and no names. They're just robots that turn into cars (for some reason)

I have had all of the Roadbots except for the Lambo. (I should get that next week)

You can read a review here:

www.roadbots.com will have some reviews on it very soon. 4 different Roadbots were given away as part of a contest and they should all be receiving them soon and doing some reviews as well.

Personally I don't like all the molds. I don't like the Hummer for example. Little loose in vehicle mode but the robot mode is very cool. The 1:32 scale ones are neat but could have better articulation. The MR-2 looks cool but is missing something. I like the Lancer and the 1:12 Ford is just amazing to see. It is HUGE.

I see the Lancer reminds me of a Metroplex type. It's too bad he doesn't change into one of those industrial sized construction vehicles or military vehicles. That would be most impressive.
