I really hope Wal-Mart starts carrying these. I want one but I am not going to order one.

wow, that thing's huge. But still inferior to the awesomeness that are the real, official Alternators.

I'm not encouraged by that review. Sounds like the things are going for larger size to compensate for their lack of detail.

He's big, not a transformer with a capital "T" and has an ugly face. I have no need nor desire for a large ugly spin off. BT/BTA/ALT rules.

I've got the Landcruiser and the Supra. There's a guy on ebay that sells one of each every couple days.

I like them both but I will say that while the Landcruiser is bigger/less detailed, the Supra has a phenominal amount of detail on the interior. I've been meaning to take pictures/write reviews for both. The Supra really is a nice bot, even if you don't much care for the style asthetic.

How much did you pay for them? Mind posting a link to his auctions? I want to get them but don't know where to find it.

The auctions come and go, just search ebay for "Toyota Robot" and you'll get them. There's usually a day in between. I got mine for about 25 each but the shipping is kinda high because its from Tailand and he won't combine.

Looking at the size comparision, one would wish that Alt Prime was that big. The Toyota looks to be a little bit shorter (But not by much) than the 20th Anniversary Prime (An Alt/Binal comes to 20th Prime's lower torso).

The bot is ugly, but the David Copperfield poster in the back ground is (in best Nathan Lane voice possible) FABULOUS! Everybody remember "The magic word is: Calcium." :lol  :lol  :lol

    are these legal?

im pretty interested in these guys if I could get them for around 20 or 30 dollars canadian, I'd pay that much for these guys. they are 1:18 scale, they would go awesome with my 1:18 die-cast model car collection. I have 70 1:18 diecast cars displayed in my room on huge shelves.

but I don't want to get these guys if they aren't legal. I know they pretty much copied hasbro's stuff, but not exactly, not enough to violate copyrights I don't believe. I was looking at them all and even the one that looks like mirage is vastly different.

different companies rip off each other like that all the time its still legal
