Does anyone have any useful insight on the quality of Happy wells Brave knock offs? Specificaly the Enryu, Furyu, Rairyu, and Horyu ones? I was introduced to them in another thread and decided to look them up on A3aU. They look awesome and they're pretty cheap, which raises is un-nerving.

    Any thing I should know?

So why even post? Plus you just asked the same question I did.

So, you don't need to ask, it's not like they can withhold information from you, it's a forum, just wait for them to reply.

The symmetrical dockers are some of my favorite Braves. After tracking them all down, I was still hungry for more. I picked up the four Galaxy Defenders you're asking about.

Yes, you can tell they're KOs by the general lack of definition to the molds and lack of deco, but they do everything the originals do & everything fits together right. I heartily recommend them. If anything, they'll just make you want to track down the originals.

Awesome! I just wanted to make double sure they were fully fuctional before looking into them, but for $7 each on A3aU, I can't refuse!

$45 each for the single bots? Eek. Is that really what they tend to go for these days? I got the FuRyu and RaiRyu set (also Korean version) for $30 at OTFCC '03.

I'd still like to track down EnRyu and HyoRyu, but not at those prices. Maybe I'll bite on the HappyWell versions for $14, though. (I kinda dig the dark gray on HyoRyu.) Just to be clear, the HappyWell versions are full size, right?

From what I heard, their VF-1S KO is supposed to have quite good quality, and even has "diecast" (lots of aliminium, I think). I have the stealth bomber one (that's a remold of a YF-19 based mech (the black one with the bomber jetmode)), and the quality of that is surprisingly good. Quite sturdy, no stuck joints, very excellent poseability...The only thing that ruins it, is that godawful head (kitbashed mine to have a better one, though it disrupted the appearance of the jetmode. Oh well.
