Valentines Day is a complete sham. Sure, I got flowers for my fiancee, and yes, I am taking her out to dinner, but the hell do I get, sex?! I get that anytime I want from her. Why the hell should I spend 100 bucks on this day and get nothing in return??
The lady and I are going to cook a steak dinner together and enjoy the rest of the evening watching movies and eating homemade chocolate covered strawberries...
Um today I did managed to make the girl I would like to have as a g/f happy by surprising her with having a card and a little woodstock doll waiting for her when she went to work. She did say it brightened up her day and made her feel better. Buuut because I'm a giant pussy, I didn't say anything to her about anything or probably will anytime soon.
Valentine's day is cool and all... but screw it. Today is me and V's 4 year anniversary! WOOOOOOO!! We celebrated when she was home over the weekend. Didn't really do much... all our plans got shot down. We had planned on going sled riding... not enough snow. Ice Skating... no open skating on Saturdays. We just made dinner and a cookie cake [my sig] and cuddled a LOT, and rented "50 First Dates." All in all, a nice weekend, great after 5 weeks apart. I bought her a whole mess of scrapbooking supplies... because it's something she loves to do, but i never want to scrapbook with her and that always hurt her feelings. We started a nice scrapbook to shocase all the things we've been through and will be through and i just lost interest. And i always teased her about not having a hobby... till i realized it was because of me. I'm a jerk. But, yeah, it's been 4 years now and I really do want a record of all out time together... so weeee! She made me a nice blanket, and stitched "I love you Boo" on it, along with 1 Corinthians 13. Y'know, Love is patient, Love is kind, etc. Well.... she didnt; write out the whole thing, just marked the verse, but y'know... and she bought be Cybertron Brushguard! Neat little figure despite the screwy arms. Oh yeah... and i spent like $60 to have a dozen long stem red roses delivered to her today. That one was for V-Day. She also informed me that i have 24 Season 1 [and i think 2] coming in the mail for my V-Day gift.
other then a suprising phone call from my ex who is currently dating soemone i got nothing out of it. though i vagely tried. sigh pity i am too cheap to use hookers.
i bought my g/f a doll, margarita cup filled with flowers, 3 dozen red roses, and some Victoria Secret stuff...the sucky thing is i couldn't spend it with her (2 V-Days now...damn deployment)
I had a good valentine's day I spent it with my girlfriend I made her a drawing of some hands holding and put it in a frame and got her a few small things of chocolate hearts, and cinnamon hearts! She loved it so much, and I only spent a whole 3 dollars. She made me a website for Valentine's see!! she's so sweet http://happyvalentinesdaymike.piczo.com/?cr=4&rfm=y and she made us dinner, BLT bagels!! they were good then we lit some candles ate dinner, and watched a movie cuddled up on the couch, it was perfect here is the card she made me too and what I got her oooo and our romantic bagel dinner
for some reason I had an impending doom feel the whole day.....(yesterday) oh well I hate valentines day for a reason its my friday the 13 I tell ya....everything that can go wrong....will go wrong. thank god my gf had to work I did drop by to give her flowers unfortunately I had class at 8 am. and couldnt stay for very long, and dinner had to be on her break... I tell ya something just HAS to go wrong.
I made a V-Day E-Card and sent it to everyone LOL. I know its sad. I also have my Easter E-card all thought up. I ended buy the girl I like roses and we went out for dinner nothing too fancy but it was fun.
Sent a bunch of flowers to a friend of mine to cheer her up in work, she only realised it was me when I phoned her the day after and she guessed the card would be something I'd say lol. Made all the other girls in her office jealous of her so success all round.
I thought Valentines would suck this year. Needless to say it turned out ALOT BETTER than I thought it would!
