    We celebrated Festivus in my German class back in high school. The "feats of strength" were performed as an arm-wrestling contest.

    How we got the pole was kind of genius. At the time, they were replacing the chalkboards with wipe-off boards, so the chalk rails were just lying around. We told a fellow teacher about our celebration and he gladly lent us his rail for use as the pole... so long as we returned it afterwards so that his class could celebrate Festivus.
