My sister got my dad a shirt, and her husband a game. And she got my oldest niece to deliver them. My brother got the flu, and gave it to his wife and son.
A friend of the family actually passed away today. Failed bypass procedure. Dude has been in n out of the hospital these past months. Back when he was 1st diagnosed of having blocked arteries his son talked to us (the family runs the nursery that i send my 4yr old to), half jokingly said, man, hope my dad dont go yet, still got buncha stuff i wanna do with him. Touched a chord with me, my dad, tho always provided, wasnt really around for a stage of my life. I think the lowest point i asked my mom (i was 9 or 10 then) how come dad isnt more like so n so dad. Which is why til now im closer with moms n dad knows exactly why n doesnt resent it. Anyways, back to the family friend, even if he wasnt the positive influence he was to others outside his family i hope he died happy. All his 7 kids clearly love him judging by their closeness. Id be good if i was half the dad he was, heres to you, mister arun.
