They are both amazing composers. The student and teacher share a modicum of the others style, but in my most humble opinion...they are fantastic.

By the way; does anyone have any idea when Jablonsky's score for DoTM is coming out on DVD?

Honestly if they were both uncredited in their scores, I would think they were all composed by the same person.

I've never really heard of any of Hans Zimmer's scores, so I'm going with Steve Jablonsky.

Zimmer has had some great movie scores, etc...but I'd go with Jablonsky overall.

I love Zimmer's scores for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I love Jablonsky's scores for the Transformers movies. It's a tough call, but if I had to choose I have to go with Zimmer.

The scores for the Pirates of the Caribbean and Transformers trilogies are my favourites of all time. Both are just incredible in their own way. Such a shame that there are too few awesome scores to films these days...
