Who you think makes the better music in terms of score.?
Both even in my opinion..
steve trained under Hans tough call
Vince Dicola wins!
Hans, The Teacher.
Go to his inception soundtrack, greatness
I like both
Jablonsky's score in TF 3 was amazing.
They are both amazing composers. The student and teacher share a modicum of the others style, but in my most humble opinion...they are fantastic.
By the way; does anyone have any idea when Jablonsky's score for DoTM is coming out on DVD?
Honestly if they were both uncredited in their scores, I would think they were all composed by the same person.
Jablonsky is Zimmer's student.
I think you mean CD, and I think it comes out when the 3D special edition comes out on DVD
yyyeeeesss.....as has been established already in this thread a few times, thanks
Also i see hans is doing the score in the new dark knight rises film as well hence new trailer and music woo hoooooooo
Thanks MTME! I did mean CD...even thought of it while typing...my fingers had another idea.
keep in mind though that is the RUMORED street date, Iprobably should have said that before, sorry
I've never really heard of any of Hans Zimmer's scores, so I'm going with Steve Jablonsky.
Zimmer has had some great movie scores, etc...but I'd go with Jablonsky overall.
I love Zimmer's scores for the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and I love Jablonsky's scores for the Transformers movies. It's a tough call, but if I had to choose I have to go with Zimmer.
Steve was trained by Hans so I think both are fantastic.
The very first movie score i ever fell in love with and purcahsed was Backdraft written by Hanz Zimmer
The scores for the Pirates of the Caribbean and Transformers trilogies are my favourites of all time. Both are just incredible in their own way. Such a shame that there are too few awesome scores to films these days...
