So it's Halloween weekend and I always like to use an excuse to push horror movies. So, in keeping with my annual tradition, here's what's on my list to watch this weekend.

    The Thing (1980's version)
    Zombie
    Nightmare on Elm St.
    Dawn of the Dead (original)
Evil Dead 1, 2 and Army of Darkness
    Exorcist
Let Sleeping Corpses Lie (also known as Living Dead at Manchester Morgue)
    Slither

Here are some recommendations for you to check out.

    Night of the Living Dead
Hills Have Eyes (remake, which may be better than the original)
Texas Chainsaw Masacre (both original and remake are worth watching)
    Saw 1 & 2
    American Werewolf in London
    Shaun of the Dead
Bubba Ho-Tep (come on, it's hilarious)
    Near Dark
    The Ring (pretty decen remake)
The Universal Classics (Frankenstein, Dracula, Wolf Man, Creature from Black Lagoon)
    Poltergeist
    Final Destination 1 & 2
    Session 9
Blade 1 & 2 (if you need some action with your horror)
City of the Living Dead (also known as The Gates of Hell)
    They Live
    In The Mouth of Madness
    The Fly (80's version especially)
    Hellraiser (the first one really)
Dead Alive (Especially if your drinking)

Some movies to AVOID at all costs:

    Wicker Man (new one)
    13 Ghosts (remake)
    The Haunting (remake)
    Fog (remake)
    Exorcist 2
Any Halloween other than the first one
    The Ring 2
    Stay Alive
    The Curse
Any Uwe Boll movie (unless you're really drunk)
    Urban Legends

I started on my horror-thon about a month ago and I am so frickin' tired of watching horror movies. In the past month alone, I've watched:
    ALL of the Jason flicks
NOES 1, 3, and New Nightmare
    Halloween
Texas Chain Saw Massacre - 1 and 2
    Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Texas Chainsaw Massacre - The one Wooderson and Bridget Jones are embarassed about
    Saw 1 and 2
    Undead
    Taste the Blood of Dracula
    The Exorcist
    The Thing
    Amityville Horror - remake
    Near Dark
    Wolf Creek
    Prince of Darkness
    Scream
    Joy Ride
    Lugosi Dracula
    Lost Boys
And this weekend is Zombie Mania in the Jiggles' household with:
NOTLD, Dawn, Day, Land, Dawn remake, Shaun, Return of TLD, and if I get really frickin' bored, Zombi 2: Zombi v Shark
Oh, and don't forget that they are showing The Crazies and NOTLD on TCM Undergroud tonite.

Probably a bunch of Zombie, evil dead, Sleepaway Camp, etc type. I think I have Toxic Avenger on DVD. I know I got Kabukiman. Gotta love Troma movies. Excessive gore, boobies, and humor.

I was thinking about having a zombie movie marathon on tuesday. I want to watch Night, Dawn, Day, and possibly Land of the Dead if I have time.

But I might check out a few of those other zombie movies that you mentioned Joe. I'm always on the look out for a good zombie flick.

Thanks, I just peed a little. The very thought of that makes me wet myself in terror.

We'll probably watch 28 Days Later because it scares the SHIT out of my girlfriend.

    In no particular order:

    - Event Horizon
    - In the Mouth of Madness
    - Dawn of the Dead (1978)
    - Blade
    - Nightmare on Elm St.

Not a movie but I also planed on watching some Hellsing (anime show) as well.

The girl & I have been on a zombie kick and she said the Resident Evil films would be good for our Halloween party, so I guess it's that. I'll probably put on "Mr. T's Be Somebody or Be Somebody's fool" to scare anyone that's left.
