Looks like I'm buying an Xbone now... Because I'm a total Halo whore and I have no problems admitting that.

What I do have a problem with is I have the $400 xbone in my shopping cart on 3 diff sites and cannot find ONE SINGLE GAME worth buying with it.

Any suggestions? If it's multi-platform I've likely already got it on PC...

Eh, more of a Gran Turismo guy, and Dead Rising doesn't interest me. Titanfall... well... let's just say that I like playing good games that have a story, not MP experiences that end with me being called "gay" or racial slurs by 12 year olds...

Yup. Halo Multiplayer took a dive when they started changing it. There's a reason it was so damn popular.

I don't understand why people are so mystified as to why Halo 4's multiplayer is so unpopular. Hell, even Reach (which is what I meant to say last post instead of Wars) and 3 have multiplayer that still has lots of players.

EDIT: Ehhhhhh, not sure on the design, it just doesn't really seem to portray the intelligence that the Arbiter (and the rest of the Elites) had, i'm not sure why the made them look more monstrous. He reminds me of the one in Halo Wars. I wonder how he'd look with the Mandible guards

 

He looks too much like the Halo Wars Arbiter who really was a barbarian. Arbiter's supposed to be heroic and noble looking. Really his mouth is all that's messed up. Too toothy and monster-y. Rest of him? Sweet as fuck. Just tone down the teeth.

Also, what happened between 3 and every other game that made it so Elites can't close their mouths anymore?

Halo's MP started to tank when MS tried to make it into a CoD clone. I loved the MP in every Halo game until 4. I was sick of 4's MP by the second week as were all of my buddies whom I played Halo with almost weekly until then.

Personally, I think Reach was my favourite MP in the series simply because the level design with the armour abilities was awesome!

I sincerely hope MS realizes that the magic of Halo's MP was that it was Halo's MP and not CoD. CoD is ultra competitive and aims for more gritty realism, Halo always catered more to the casual crowd who fell in love with MP in dowm rooms and friends houses playing split screen. It needs to recapture that once again.

 

He looks awesome. A definite change, but I like it. Too bad there's no chance of an action figure being made.

 

Maybe they'll incorperate the original idea of him being a being made from a mass of corpses.

Though Arbiter's just a cool guy, and as long as they don't re-write the games or anything, he'll still be cool. Hearing that calm, suave and noble voice coming from that might be a tad distracting, but also cool.

 

Well, I know what I'm getting for Christmas this year.

And Mechafire will be laughing the whole time I play this collection.   Dammit.
