To be fair for Mattel, they honored my replacement parts needs for my dad's Enterprise and pretty fast. The problem was they had me go through their conventional Customer Service instead of the Mega brand's missing parts support page.
Thanks. I got out of collecting Mega Bloks(Contrux) back when Halo 5 came out. I haven't bought much since eeirh the exception of a Hero or two. I think part of it was just having them and Transformers compete for space, plus the new armor system rendered the hundreds of figures I had obsolete. Not that I don't think it's bad, it's amazing. Anywho though I had an idea I wanted to post here for a new series Mega Contrux could handle. Overwatch. Just think about it, you could have sets based off each of the maps, plus there are a whole slew of heroes to include. The blindbag line could continue using the alternate skins/molds as well. I mean it works so perfectly. Mega even did a WoW line a while ago so they could still make a deal with Blizzard, plus Overwatch is super popular too. The line would work, and Mega are the people to do it. I have ideas for the sets somewhere but I'll have to find them.
Yup, used to be a very simple matter to contact mega brands for new parts. Now you have to use Mattels catch all CS page which, aside from looking dated, is more in depth.
I'm so envious of you guys being able to find Mega Bloks in your countries. Here in my part of the world, the franchise literally comes and goes - certain waves didn't hit my country at all. As a result, I didn't get the chance to pick up beauties like 'Forward onto Dawn' and the 'Mammoth'. Cheesed me off... Anyway, just completed 'book 1' of the Broadsword' and I really like what I'm seeing. Still kinda cheesed off at the missing decals and assault rifle. Now I think one of the 'mini-figure's bomb' is missing.
Can someone help guide me through Mattel's CS page for missing parts? I've been trying to get replacement parts for a Destiny set with no avail.
Kinda tempted but I gotta be frank with myself. Main reason I want the set is for Splinter and $105 is still too much to spend for a minifigure.
For that price, even if it was a bad set, it'd be worth it for the sheer number of parts. I was planning on picking it up, so this price was unbeatable.
I highly recommend the new Grunt figures. They may be the 343 design, they're just so good. Plus, they now have removable armor, so classic Grunts seem likely as all they need are new chest armor/ backpack and helmet or head.
You guys seriously need to go through Mattel's CS Page for missing parts now? I guess that is shit, I found the parts replacement page still there on the Mega Brands site, haven't needed to use it yet though. Maybe the Canadian site is still through them because their based in Canada and living in Canada it just makes sense I can still access it. I've been on a Turtles kick the past month, planning on picking up tons of clearance items and finally snagging some Classics turtles. The 2012 smaller sets have been cropping up in Dollarama stores, which is awesome, and at 4$ a piece much better priced. But the Donnie sets aren't around for whatever reason.
