Yup! I mean I get it, Halo took years before we got most of the enemies, we got Elites and grunts up front, Brutes the following spring, Hunter's and jackals about a year later, and we just recently got drones and a prophet! But I don't want to wait four or so years to have a whole set of Destiny enemies. I really want them to do 2-4 figure packs like they do with Halo. That would be great for army building the lower "mook" enemies like dregs or goblins.
So, as of recently, the Mega Bloks collectors lines will be sold under the name Mega Construx. Also, the new armory and sparrow sets are hitting shelves as Jang and Spicy Bloks have done reviews on them. Anyone else hoping Mega gets the license for Dead Men Tell No Tales?
Wait... that. That looks like... That looks like a Halo 2/3 Mark VI. ... What, can't be... What. WHAT.
Those are Brutes? Weird how the mere inclusion of helmets totally make them look like another creature. (maybe the colours aren't helping) So used to seeing their little heads. EDIT: BTW, finally grabbed a clearence Halo 5 Banshee and sued it's parts along with my Space Banshee to make a Reach variant. Finally one of the two gaping holes in my display has been filled. (now I just need a Scorpion)
THEY ARE! Between last week and this week I was able to pick up both the new Sparrow and Armory sets from the Destiny guys.
Yeah had that reaction too. Apparently that's what they're going with for Halo Wars 2. It's kind of weird considering how they've looked in 2 and 3, but I kind of like it. Do have to admit the whole time I watched the review "I'm The Juggernaut Bitch" kept running through my head. Just the sheer beefy look and especially that helm throws off that movie juggernaut vibe.
